This otherwise good conversation did not incorporate the US administration's fetish to tamp down Israeli actions in their delusional pursuit of some kind of appeasement to rapprochement with Iran. So far, Israel has given in to this pressure at least somewhat and despite Bibi's rhetoric to the contrary, Rafah is anything but a done deal and the US has disavowed support for the Damascus assassinations. At the very least, given a lukewarm effort in Yemen thus far, it looks like Israel will be on its own in any direct conflict with Iran.
