I enjoyed your video! We have used different resources from Queen Homeschool over the years and one resource that my children have really enjoyed has been their elementary science book on animals. They learned so much from doing their own research! I also love their copy work books as well! We have used those for many years and love them.

Like you, I've been homeschooling over a dozen years and have used several Queen products but I've yet to use any high school products. One of my daughters will be ready soon for high school level work and I was on the fence about whether Queen would work for her for high school. Do you feel it will be enough without supplementation other than math? This particular kiddo is not headed for a science related field. I'm more concerned with the upper level of writing as I could see her doing something involving writing/journalism.
Hi! Supplementing depends on your state. I added living books to his schedule because our state requires literature study along with writing instruction. The Queen language volumes will cover various types of writing, however, for my oldest - she still had to learn extra things in college. Different professors ask her to submit papers in different formats (MLA, Turabian, etc) but it's not a big issue because once they know HOW to learn, it doesn't really matter WHAT they're asked to learn :) The goal is a lifelong love for learning.
Great video! One thing I haven't been able to quite figure out about Queen Homeschool is their high school science. Does it include labs? I'm considering their biology for my daughter next year but want to be sure its a full credit with lab. Thanks!
Thanks! No, Queen sciences do not come with labs. My son is using the Summer by the Sea Biology this year and I had to create a plan to add labs & field work each semester. It was very easy for us to do, since we live in Southern California and have access to beaches and lakes. Depending where you live, I have heard others doing online labs if there’s no water access.
Hi! I feel it's sufficient prep for junior college, but I would probably supplement (additional science labs, additional writing, added literature) if you're heading straight to a 4yr major university.
Did you use a box kit? Can you share the link? Im interested in Box 9 for my son. Im new to this and not sure if its going to be sufficient. I know we need to add a math package to be complete. Thank you.
D T -I did not buy a box kit. I pieced everything together myself; 9th was Queens Ancient History, Queens Anatomy Science, Queens Daniel Bible Study, Queens High School Grammar + their bible reading notebook. The box is great too though. Look into your state requirements for high school and you will find out if you need to add anything else!

Nutrition 101 Choose Life, and The Essential Life. Both from Amazon. You can google search them as well.

We used Queen exclusively for 9th & 10th. Now for 11th this year we are only using parts of their curriculum.
