My family owns Vidler's! Thanks so much for the shout-out and glad you had a great time! :) Also, did you know that The Bar Bill's wings were voted best in Western NY in Buffalo Spree Magazine? (And I think somewhere else before that?)
I grew up in Marilla, and we'd of course have to go to East Aurora for the library, shopping, and such. I miss the original tops. Things changed so much - from the looks of this video. But nice to see Vidler's still there. I'm 37 now, been going there since I was.... probably an infant.... but my memories come in at around 5 or 6, buying some of the toys and riding the mechanical rides for 10 cents out front (back in the 80s.) I moved abroad (Taiwan) now and sometimes miss the small town vibe. I hope to visit again sometime and hope y'all still there!
Thanks for stopping in East Aurora! You captured the best parts my home town has to offer! So glad I found your channel I would love to meet you two! Hopefully il bump into you guys somewhere in buffalo!
What a lovely town. I have not been there but the next time I am in the area I want to go. Thanks guys for this beautiful vlog. I love to explore different towns and cities. BTW it was nice to see two handsome men in the shots also. See you next time.
I sent this to friends who happen to live in East Aurora and are involved with all the arts and crafts buildings and activities. Bet they're going to be thrilled. 😱Keep up the good work.
Come check out the Chautauqua Institution. It's only about 1 hour south of Buffalo. An amazing summer opportunity to explore the Arts, Religions, and Philanthropies, not to mention an incredible time!
William and Patrick(I'm using your possible full names to show I'm serious)! If you two don't get a show on HGTV or with this great video the Travel channel then you are simply wasting your gifts! Awesome Job you two and I know you have real jobs, but I have a feeling bigger things are coming your way, so get ready! All the best! :)
Oh, wow! Beef on weck! My father introduced that sandwich to me years ago since he grew up near Buffalo. I can taste and hear the salt crunch like it was yesterday. Sadly, in ATL, no one knows what a beef on weck is... : (
Billy - I am a major Arts & Crafts buff too. While all the straight guys in highschool were doing god knows what - I was getting my "PhD" in the A&C movement LOL!! We should totally talk. I've started writing a book about William Morris.
Loved the views or the Roycroft Campus. After the founder and his wife died on the titanic the next head of the company or something wrote a book about his life and philosophy. I happened upon it in a used book store. Nearly a mint copy and it was an amazing read. I will have to find the book and give you the exact title.
Pat, I like that you don't ask Billy to pluck your gray hair (unlike my lovely boyfriend who asks me to pluck his gray hair AT LEAST TWICE A DAY ;-P )! Some gray makes you interesting!
BillyandPatVlog that, or at some point pluck the black hair rather than the grey. Or even easyer, colour them in with some mascara (like my mother once did for my dad - although that was more because she had carlessley made a little bald spot when she cut his hair . . . it's amazing what you can hide with a little mascara!) M.-A.

Nice job, guys!
You should come visit the Eastern part of the state! :)
I've lived on both sides. Western New York is better imo.
So how was the Beef on Weck? I had one there last summer and it was totally worth a return trip from So. Cal!
Try some Sweet Water 420 Ale, great taste!
I love 5 & 10 stores!

The "nose picker" : I use it in class to let the kids click on the smartboard!

The art school building is very Frank Lloyd Wright!

Marc-Andre Muller I'd rather be grey than bald, so I'm gonna leave 'em in there! haha - Pat
