- His Holiness Patriarch of Moscow and all Russia Cyril I visited giant monastery of saint Pantelejmon's at the Holy Mountain Athos in Greece, to mark 1000th anniversary of Russian presence at Athos. President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin also was present to honor this great anniversary of this great spiritual center for the Russian Orthodox People.

I am in the process of converting to the Russian Orthodox Christian Church outside of Russia, there is a ROCOR church in my neighborhood, I am a Slav & I'm rediscovering my heritage, I feel God has called me to His flock & I feel the Orthodox Christian Church is the True Church. I am so grateful to find this small church in the midst of Mormon central, I look forward to the day of my baptism, I'm just starting the process, so I have a long road ahead of me, but I've already have experienced some miracles, the first was God turning an agnostic like me into a believer.
The Orthodox must stick together and preserve the true Orthodox faith.

And I'm pretty sure you'll realize that Donald J. Trump does love his religion. He just knows that not everyone is a Christian, and that everyone should have freedom, regardless.

Beautiful ceremony in a beautiful place. A President who kneels to the God of his people.
This was a very nice, successful visit. It is now August 2018 and Greece just had horrible fires. I remember on May 1, 2016 on Easter St. Sava Serbian in NYC burned, a Greek Orthodox and Macedonian Orthodox Church in Australia and the Valaam Monastery hotel fire in Russia. All of these burned the same Easter Day. There are more in the news and it is troubling that Orthodox seem to have more fires thru the years than other denominations. My prayers are with Greece and the people who are suffering right now. God Bless all and keep the world safe.
