Great video. I was on this F.D. in the mid 70's to early 80's. I was also one of the first medics when Ravenna city took over the ambulance service from the funeral homes.. Then we provided medic services for Ravenna Township also..

I suggesting a channel to watch or to review how this fire volunteer brigade in the Philippines respond in a fire call “ Iverson Fire Volunteer”. You will see how chaotic in the fire scene how many trucks,firefighter and hoses in the scene. The number of the volunteer brigades is more than government brigades or firefighters.
Just goes to show while some may look at those on the hose are the ones working, its the engineer running back and forth making sure everyone has water and air. That its a team effort to effectively put out a fire needing all cogs meshing to get the job done.
Hello, I would like to ask you to shoot such videos more often. I am a Russian guy who runs a channel analyzing situations related to the 911 emergency service. It is quite rare to find videos in the body cameras on an employee of the fire department.
From one Eng to another solid work brother watched all three and actually the day before I saw this one of my ffs is about to start pdo school and was asking questions and we were hitting on the very basics or supplying and I got to send him these videos. One question I did have and I may have missed something communications wise but what was the thought behind throwing the ladder before charging the line? No hate at all just am curious cause my guy asked too. Thanks!

Being the driver sure seems to keep you on your toes. I have the the utmost respect for firefighters and the dangerous job they do.

Always wanted to be a firefighter, but never went to the Academy. I was paralyzed in a accident at barely 24. Wish I had do it early.

at first i thought there was foam falling from the roof and attic work.. but then.. it was just snow.
Snow yes, but also foam. We pump foam on every fire

The line was charged by the guy backing up me on the tip while the engineer grabbed the ladder. It was hard to see in the video

Not true. It’s a CAFS engine. The sound you are hearing is the air compressor

@@roofgoof132 hmmm. I’m not too sure then. It’s a fairly new engine but it seems to be working fine. It’s how it has sounded since we got it in 2022.
