    I can attest to everything she’s saying. I got started last month and have already sold almost a dozen mattresses. I’ve averaged about 220 per sale. Very easy, minimal risk side hustle if your willing to do a little work moving mattresses!

And try this out hopefully I don't ever have to be away from son and wife if it goes right!! I subscribed and put your video link on my notes to never forget this video once im home.

    This sounds more like a headache because you have the cleaning you have to do all the work and it’s not guaranteed. You’re gonna flip it right away and then you don’t have the room for the house.

    they take more than 50% of the price they tell you to sell it. You have to pick up a mattress that may be full of stains and you have to remove all stains. You have to clean and desinfect everything. You have to have a big storage unit because you will have lots of inventory. You will be doing up to 50 miles for a pickup. You have to post everything on facebook market, deal with customers. you will not sell some of your items. yes, you can make money but its not that great after all the work you do and after deducting expenses and time invested to make maybe under $200 a sale sometimes under $100 after all expenses... in some cases you may be loosing money because you picked up something you wont sell and you may have to disposal that item costing you more time and money to take it out of your storage. And remember you have to share earning with your helper... no one works for free!

    So what happens you don't sell a item ? Do you owe sharetown the money still for that item ?

    • @NickLoper
      @NickLoper  13 днів тому

      My understanding is you don’t owe them until it sells.

    Staci , I am somewhat confused that you are representing yourself as a random reseller for Sharetown doing a side hustle. I just applied to Sharetown for a reseller position and "you" were the person who replied by email to me. What is your position with Sharetown ? Owner ? Founder ? Employee ? Listening from 1:30 to 1:50 for any one paying attention it seems that you are the owner. "

      Thought so too 😢

    • @NickLoper
      @NickLoper  Рік тому

      When we recorded, Staci was a part-time Sharetown employee in addition to being a reselling rep on the side.

    • @djmeiners0990
      @djmeiners0990 Рік тому

      I'm a Sharetown rep myself. Sharetown does have employees that handle recruiting/onboarding, dispatching, and regional managers. These are typically separate from the reps that do the reselling, the reps are considered independent contractors.

    • @BTEstacy
      @BTEstacy Рік тому +1

      I also am a reseller with Sharetown. Staci is not an owner. I am currently just an independent contractor but was formerly a part time employee as well, on the team with Staci. Three jobs was too much so now I just have two, lol. This is a legitimate opportunity. I'm coming up on my three year anniversary soon.

    • @NickLoper

      I know several reps have onboarded since the video aired, so they are actively bringing new people on. It seems like the bigger the population, the greater the need.

    It is illegal to sell used mattresses in some states

    • @NickLoper
      @NickLoper  Рік тому

      I’d always heard that too! In most states, selling a used mattress is still legal, especially by an individual (as opposed to a retailer) and especially when it’s not being advertised as new.
      Nolah has a handy state-by-state guide so you can check the regulations and stipulations in your area: www.nolahmattress.com/blogs/blog/is-it-legal-to-sell-a-used-mattress

    Why does the mattress maker want to do this?

    • @NickLoper
      @NickLoper  Рік тому +2

      My understanding is the manufacturer needs to offer a “100 night risk-free sleep trial” to be competitive, but can’t really resell those mattresses that get returned as new inventory. I think it’s something like 7% of orders that end up getting returned. I believe Sharetown let’s them recoup some of their cost from the proceeds of the resale, but I’m not 100% on that. (Some brands explicitly say they’ll donate the returns.)
