Just wanted to take a minute to thank Engin again, these promotions are highlighting a golden era in arm wrestling. Fans have unprecedented access to the sport and its participants, as a whole, and not just the few all stars who get most of the attention.
justin bishop was the first armwrestler that caught my eye somehow i realized it was an actual sport and i looked and looked until i find someone that could beat him then started getting in the loop of everybody in 2018
When the commentator said the new guys don't have speed I gave it credit and instantly thought of that crazy match of Gary Goodridge vs John Breznk at Yukon Jack, where the speed and aggression was more decisive in that match than strength, and I did not even realise it was Gary commentating lol, just goes to show how different his style was from everyone else, and still different to most.
Time flow, amazing how Justin Bishop still somewhere 82kg class while Ryan now beyond 100kg at baseline weight. A bit waste they didn't pull again when the weight gap not this massive. There's conversation about Ryan skip Justin and all at some point.... but now they're far apart in weight.
They need to stop those elbow fouls if they are done intentionally to prevent the other opponent from scoring a win. If the elbow foul is done in a winning position or in the middle then yes but if the elbow foul is done in a losing position, it should be a loss and not a reset.
I feel like they need to do something about the strap. With all the talk of whoever has the buckle against there hand has the disadvantage then it obviously doesn’t make it a fair match.
It's something how equally matched this match was and it came down to endurance and stamina. You really have to be in great cardio shape to go the distance when you're at the elite level. I was hoping Bishop won but his opponent just had more... Endurance.
Some of these East vs. West matches look a bit suspect - especially the match between Tarasaitis and Bishop. Tarasaitis' just seemed to give the first game away to Bishop. Could it be rigged?
I think you still upload these PPV too soon. I paid, and still haven't watched all matches :) I don't mean it bothers me though. And holy shit your intro song is loud. Good job by the way on the EvW5. Actually all of them. Keep up the good work^^
This is one of my favorite matches. It was a battle of craftiness and patience.
Pure technical skill and setup showed in this match. Awesome side of armwrestling.
Battle of the buckle
@@billyshupe5239 Mindaugas always does bad when buckle is on his side, it's weird. Ray mentioned it too. We saw it in arm wars as well.
@@Nightball12 most "pure" top rollers do worse with the buckle on their hand vs an opponent top rolling
Same.
This match was a tehnical delight Engin, thx for the great event, 14 incredible matches on the card.
Agree
Justin Bishop surprised me a lot, what a good match.
Justin is the real deal
Justin is more technical than ppl think, and strong too 🔥 he’s pinned the best pullers in his weight class and isn’t afraid of a fight!Bama Bull 💪
Agreed
15:15 Paul Linn seems like a good guy to have in your corner too.
Was my honor to be able to corner Justin and others. I love the team aspect of these events!

This should have gotten more promotion beforehand.
Justin has a solid fan base in the USA.
Justin actually did better than I expected, this match was awesome
Hes a beast

Man it is soooo good to hear Mr. Goodridge involved with EvW. Engin going back in time and including the legends of past in the event is gold.

This match is the example of good matchups and good sportmanship.

Well done Mindaugas. Pagarba. :)

In the 3 round Justin started the match with his elbow off the front of the pad.
He also false started several times (round 1, round 2-restart, round 5) but overall a great match, really good showing by both imo.
Man if Justin could just choriograph getting behind his shoulder he could fight that defensive toproll
Adjustin' Bishop 🙃
Battle of the buckle and set ups!
Justin needed to explode more , he has to get that hand control at any cost.
Bishop is a strong starter but always seems to fall short towards the end
Justin Bishop could be an actor he has that look for movies/tv. I'm sure he probly heard it before tho.
why is Justin being pulled across the table in the strap setup that isn't right huge disadvantage
I feel like they need to do something about the strap. With all the talk of whoever has the buckle against there hand has the disadvantage then it obviously doesn’t make it a fair match.

Buckle needs a revamp, for the future of the sport
Are there still people who argue that buckle side is equal? Its like a meme at this point.. “be a man” 😂

Man I don't like how this refs let dingus set up like that.
Of course mindaugas would have better technique he has the goat to advice him in his corner

justin asking if mindaugas elbow came off the pad in rd 5...when justin's elbow lifted 5/6 times 🤦🏽♂
Это же вылетый Элайдже Вуд😄
Just"I"n B"I"ship
Justin needed to just give up that wrist and press that final round. He would have got it.
Rd 5 the ref didn't bother the elbow of justin..very clear its a foul...
elbow foul in a losing position should be a pin, period.
Denmark? But he comes from Lithuania :D
I think sometimes the commentators need to be quiet while the athletes talk, cant hear what theyre saying. I know neil listens in all the time
Bro tarasaitis changing countries sometimes he represents lithuania and then denmark ..but hes surname is greek
