Thank You! I just installed new fog light assembly on F30 and added the LED Bulbs and just about 5 or so minutes in my drive the fog light malfunction error came up but of course the fog lights worked great. The malfunction error is annoying. I just ordered a OBD 2 and will do this myself.

Hi! Thank you for your comment. No, it’s not permanently coded. If you wish to revert back to original settings there’s an option where you can remove the code. But other than that, as long as you code it and leave it, it stays until you take it off. I hope this helps!

@@ErebusF30 Maybe I'll buy a Low Beam bulb, But I'm not sure if upgrading it from halogen to LED will scatter its light
From what I’ve seen, they are adjustable. I have mine meet in the middle at about 25-30ft
Hey, so I have an F 30 I changed the front headlights fir aftermarket headlights. Everything works fine but my turn signals blink fast do you think I need to do coding ?
Is it faster than normal? And which aftermarket product did you use? It could be the product itself.
I really appreciate your help. Do you mean I need the phone in airplane mode and bluetooth enabled when i do the coding?
Hi! Yes, usually when you get a text or call from someone it will reset the whole coding process and you’ll have to start over. Usually this is not a big deal but it’s just convenient to not redo the code

Did you have LED prior to that? Try to back up the code
I get no front electronic module while using my supported obd2 scanner and bimmercode. E91 LCI 2011.

Can you change your f30 halogen headlight units to the adaptive led or bi exeoneon light units and code so they work through bummer code or do I need to buy aftermarket headlights as I want to upgrade to the u/angel light headlights
Hi great question. So for the adaptive led you’ll need the sensor as well to go with your headlights. Those are the ones mounted behind your rear view mirror. The depo lights with halos are plug and play but you’ll still need to code it in BimmerCode to change from halogen to LED. Hope this helps!
I thought you can’t code led headlights with bimmercode...I heard only with e-sys and another system I can’t think of....?

Hey boss im having an issue where only 1 side DRL is working, i went from Halogen to retrofitted f30 headlight upgrades to Angel eyes projectors. Can bimmer code fix only 1 drl working? (driver side doesnt work)

@@ErebusF30 Thanks for reply, No i have not coded them, witch is weird cause the passenger side DRL works when i turn the car on, but not the driver side, Luckily when i turn on the low beam night time light. they all work
That’s great to hear! Try to code them if you can, it’ll save them from burning out in the long run :) sorry for the late reply I went sailing to San Diego. I’ll be out sailing for a while til November where I’ll be back in Washington!
My drl stopped working on f33. I changed the drl module with same part number but still not working. I confirmed which module is faulty. Do you think the replacement needs coding or are they plug and play
Hello, thank you for your comment. I suggest always code when switching to LEDs! Voltage output for LED and halogen are different which may cause your bulbs to burn out faster :)

No it is not, it’s a one time payment though for unlimited access to everything in the app :)
Is it alright if i code it to have led high beams but in reality i still have halogen high beams, i coded this by accident and don’t want to reset my FEM

Nice! How much lumens are you running in your high beams?
@@ErebusF30 they are really bright i got the 360 led but I’m going to be switching to double faced led, the light that it outputs is just centered like a circle type beam and i think i blind the shi out of ppl when i high beam
@@ErebusF30 i got the depo headlights for the f30 btw so the high beam is reflector housing and the low beam is projector housing
