how is loans grated capital expenditure? interest on the loan is RR then how it can be treated as an expenditure?
LOANS granted how can it be expenditure?
Why does Defence come under revenue expenditure - Warships, and other weapons, missiles, nuclear technology, are asset created. This should be categorised under capital expenditure.
On the other hand, R&D in this sector RESULT in asset creation. Since, no immediate asset is created, it is revenue expenditure.

Read the statement properly.. the word is "granted" which means "given". It doesn't have anything to do with grants.
