Guajiras - Culture & 'Aire': Guajiras is a dance with a very melodious song and music. Why? Because it is influenced by Latin America. In the old days, the Spanish would travel back and forth between this 'New World' and Spain.
Not only was there trade, there was also a lot of cultural exchange.
And this is one flamenco style where you'll be able to greatly note this. Flamenco 'inherits' this melodic influence from this human interaction.
