    You can make dog and cat coats out of the sleeves of of fleece and sweaters really fast. Some small dogs like Min-Pins, Chihauhau's, and cats like Devon Rex's and Sphynx etc have a hard time staying warm, so they wear sweaters often. Also animals that had a recent surgery and they'll use clothes instead of a cone to stop them from bothering the wound until it heals. All potentials to use the fabric on.

    It was explained to me that they get an allowance of $10,000 per year, for items that have been destroyed. So they cut them up to ensure they are destroyed. It's discusting and should be banned. They should be forced to donate to charity or oversease. SMDH! Thanks for trying to save stuff from the landfill. On to the next :).

    I see potential in a lot of those clothes. There is enough fabric to make pillow covers and some childrens clothes from the adults things. I do that sort of thing with clothing from family members who have passed. they are called Memory pillows, memory bears, etc. I worked for a short time at a local Walmart and they have a destroy policy. When the store was being remodeled brand new electronics and more are thrown into the trash compactor instead of donating. Perfectly healthy plants destroyed to make room for a new delivery. I worked in the garden department. It was more than I could tolerate and that is why I had a short stay in that job. Plus the other employees were hateful bullies.

    • @kayw9274
      @kayw9274 4 роки тому

      Walmart is awful to work for!! In my experience anyway. And many others I've known that worked there. Not all the same location either. Sam Walton was a shark and his kids that now own the company are worse. There is a documentary about it, I don't know the name. But it showed how Walmart would purchase merchandise from manufacturers at such a small profit margin for the manufacturers so that Walmart can sell it cheaper than other retailers. Walmart has so many stores, they make their money on volume so they can undercut other retailer prices. Not to mention what they pay employees and how their employees are treated. Walmart single-handedly drives American wages down. They are the largest employer in the world. So what they pay their employees and how they treat their employees serves as a benchmark for other employers.

    Hey, Steph I love your channel! You guys are awesome. Steph I don’t know how crafty you are, but, I would maybe sew some different fabric to the back of the green sweater that was slashed down the middle & make a swing sweater. & w/ the shoes slashed down the middle or sides glue on, or makes holes for ribbon or lacing & make them appear that they were made that way to be laced up. The sweater that they cut completely in half, sew up the back seam, leaving the front open, making it like a cardigan.

    You could make pillows out of the damaged sweaters. I get old sweaters from goodwill and I make throw pillows out of them. Just an idea of how to get some use out of the cut sweaters.

    Steve you are so funny😂. I like it when you all read why things get returned. Has “homegirl” returned anything lately😁

    Theres a charity here in UK call 'New Life' that large stores donate their returns and not sold items, everything is debranded and sold ,
    I think they have about three or four large stores the one I know is in Cannock , household items too, it is always full of customers.
    The charity supports new borns hence 'New Life'
    It's a really good idea that works
    Enjoy you day! Xxxx

    If the clothing company is worried about the donated cloths"returning for discount" they could simply cut or mark the brand tags so they are not returnable. Or simpler yet no receipt no refund . Steve you definitely can give a person the giggles :) Hi Steph wish you better luck next dive :)
