Another really great variation of Sawyers Nymph, but as an emerger, thank you,

Nice fly Chris, I tie something similar and it works very well but I'm definitely going to tie a few of these. Tight lines and Happy Christmas.

Thanks glad you liked it. Its just a trout food looking fly that has a bit of versatility. The trout like it. Good luck with it and a Merry Christmas to you and yours as well!

Hi Chris- maybe I missed it but what is the dubbing you used in front of the cdc wing? Thanks for the video

Hi Chris- I really enjoy your fishing videos- great footage and nice music to go with. The tying videos are also much appreciated, but could I respectively suggest that you provide a materials list. I have noticed that you don’t always provide full details during the tie. Kind regards,
    Brian

Hey Brain glad you enjoy. You know it all began with me just wanting to show my adventures and some effective fly patterns that work and giving a little information why. I agree I could clearer about the materials and how step for step but I have just been enjoying tying and music and sharing my journey. I will try to do a better job while still being me. LOL

That looks like a good quill gordan wetfly imitation I'll have to tie some of these for the quill gordan hatch there starting to come off along with black caddis in my neck of the woods

Effective pattern wet or dry. What part of the world are you in? Weather is changing, won't be long. All the best!

Try the peacock caddis size 16 for the black caddis hatch. Great fly.

Nice variation, and good music. Dire Straits and M. Knopfler rule!

Thank you. This is a good pattern to have and that trout thought so too. Yes Dire straits and Mark Knopfler rule. Great story telling and amazing music. I will have the pleasure of seeing him in August I can't wait. If you have watched any of my other videos his music is more common then the trout I am fortunate to fool. Thanks for the comments. All the best and a merry Christmas!
