My son was born prematurely in my 28th week of pregnancy. I was told he won't live and if he does he will be blind deaf and dumb. My beautiful baby girl was born blue with floppy baby syndrome. I was so scared when she 15 months old and not standing, much less walking. I said Saint Jude’s prayer 10x a day for 10 days. On the tenth day, our nanny called me to say come home! She is walking! Then she ran. Then ballet. The on her way to take on the world. God is good and just! Hallelujah

Well Put. I also walked away from Jesus when I was younger and I also feel it was the biggest mistake of my life. However, God used those dark times to make me the person I am today which is forgiven and loved by Him. His mercy is incredible.

I live in Brazil, I had no idea of the success that this song made in the USA, but after watching the movie I confess that its lyrics touched me deeply, in a space of 10 months I lost my father-in-law and my mother-in-law, it was very painful and we are still recovering for the tragic way it was. It hit home so much for me, My father was a WWII Vet, he saw combat action, it affected him big time, he was one of the most abusive individuals I have ever met in my life, the things he did to my mother, me and my two sisters who both died young from child hood disease was terrible. We were not ever close until real late in his life when cancer took him at 67 years of age. We made peace he saw his granddaughter and died a couple of years later. I Love this song, God is in my heart forever and he is the only person I kneel for ever.

This song amazes me.. I've been blessed to have the Lord stand before me.. What amazes me everything he imagines one of each are true. 1. You're still before the Lord, his glory will have you in awe and amazement. 2. You will be on your knees. You cannot stand in his presence. His presence and his power are too much. 3. You cannot speak but weep in the presence of the almighty. Jesus presence and glory shines through you and it feels like a transparent light that can see all your Iniquities and you cannot help but feel ashamed but at the same time he radiates the amazing LOVE a love like nothing I've ever felt.
This is my personal testimony. I used to believe that I was super strong, super smart, capable of taking care of myself, and even though I have always been a believer, my faith in God wasn't as strong as it was in myself. Two years ago I had a serious personal problem with my family, without going into details; at that point, my family was my God, they were the reason I live for, in other words, my "EVERYTHING", but due to the issue with them one day they ALL, everybody abandoned me, over the night... I was left without anything and anyone to talk to. Months passed by, on which I couldn't sleep, lost my appetite and also my will to live. I pretended for a while that I was fine ‘cus I full of pride so I couldn’t admit that this time I wasn’t gonna be able to fix myself…until I couldn't take it any longer. One night when the pain was unbearable, and desperation took over me, finally, I realized that I couldn’t keep living that way, so I started planning how to kill myself, I gave some thoughts to the idea because I wanted to be effective and final, I needed to stop the pain but before I did it I got on my knee, very angry with God, at 3 something am, I screamed to God "IF YOU CARE ABOUT ME, DO SOMETHING BECAUSE I CAN'T DO THIS ANY LONGER!!!, I AM A GOOD PERSON AND YOU KNOW IT!!! I CAN'T TAKE THIS PAIN ANY LONGER!!! I DON'T WANT THIS LIFE ANY MORE!!, IF YOU DON'T DO SOMETHING I AM!!! IF YOU SAVE ME I PROMISE I WILL DEDICATE THE REST OF MY LIFE TO YOU!!!” After this, all I remember comes to me like a flashback, I swear, I don't know how I got back to my bed( my last memory was been on my knee by my bed). Later on( I am not sure how long it passed), on this flashback I opened my eyes for a second and my room was full of extraordinary light, so strong I couldn't keep my eyes open, I was in a fetal position on my bed, my room was full of Jesus’s presence(I didn't need to see his face because the love and peace that overcame my body, the feeling that fulfilled my inner being was screaming the existence of Jesus in my bedroom). I woke up at 10:35am as A TOTAL NEW PERSON, I felt like I have lost a heavyweight I was carrying on, I was radiant, hunger, happy and full of hopes and plans for my life... Jesus saved me! he cleansed my spirit from evil desires OVER THE NIGHT! just the way my family forsakes me. I have been wanting to give my testimony for almost 2 years, I guess the Lord decided that today was the day, he is REAL people, he is, and all we have to do is to redeem ourselves to him and ask for help, he is waiting for us to do so, this is mentioned in the Bible on Matthew 11:28 “Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” We don't have to suffer alone, Jesus died for us, so we can live an abundant and long life. My feeling towards my family hasn’t changed at all, if anything I love them more than ever, nor I hold any negative feelings against them, I still will give my life for any of them, the only difference now is that I will ask Jesus first if he is ok with this. To the Lord be the glory! God bless you all.

When I heard this song in Cris Duran's voice here in Brazil I had such a deep connection that I cried every time I heard it. Today in 2022 I watched the movie and got to know the history of music and the connection I had with this song made perfect sense. Just like the composer of this song I also had a father who was a monster, and he also died of cancer and also regretted it before he died. I watched the film 2 weeks ago. I love the film and the Song. But best of all I love God. I was so messed up. I still am but I'm healing with God's help.. I pray that after horrific abuse physical and sexual and a life spent with social services. I've suffered with addiction. I'm now in treatment after nearly dying this year. My husband had a "silent heart attack" last October. We were together at Arby's having sandwiches and salads. I got him to the hospital and he had a quadruple bypass, in the hospital for 4 days, came home and healed well, and back to work in 6 weeks. The whole time NO PAIN except sore bones. THANK YOU JESUS! It's a miracle he lived. Most silent heart attacks do not make it. But by the grace of God - my husband did! Praise God..

I live in Brazil, I had no idea of the success that this song made in the USA, but after watching the movie I confess that its lyrics touched me deeply, in a space of 10 months I lost my father-in-law and my mother-in-law, it was very painful and we are still recovering for the tragic way it was. I just saw the movie with this song in it. It hit home so much for me, My father was a WWII Vet, he saw combat action, it affected him big time, he was one of the most abusive individuals I have ever met in my life, the things he did to my mother, me and my two sisters who both died young from child hood disease was terrible. We were not ever close until real late in his life when cancer took him at 67 years of age. We made peace he saw his granddaughter and died a couple of years later. I Love this song, God is in my heart forever and he is the only person I kneel for ever.

He passed away a few years ago and god I miss him wish I could call him on the phone but he’s not here anymore. I’m glad I forgave him and he is the dad I always wanted. Don’t know why he was the way he was but he came around . If you haven't seen the movie based around his life from a child and then growing up, it is a MUST SEE!!! Such a powerful movie...It gives this song such heartfelt strength!
This song amazes me.. I've been blessed to have the Lord stand before me.. What amazes me everything he imagines one of each are true.
1. You're still before the Lord, his glory will have you in awe and amazement.
2. You will be on your knees. You cannot stand in his presence. His presence and his power are too much.
3. You cannot speak but weep in the presence of the almighty. Jesus presence and glory shines through you and it feels like a transparent light that can see all your Iniquities and you cannot help but feel ashamed but at the same time he radiates the amazing LOVE a love like nothing I've ever felt.
This is my personal testimony.
I used to believe that I was super strong, super smart, capable of taking care of myself, and even though I have always been a believer, my faith in God wasn't as strong as it was in myself.
Two years ago I had a serious personal problem with my family, without going into details; at that point, my family was my God, they were the reason I live for, in other words, my "EVERYTHING", but due to the issue with them one day they ALL, everybody abandoned me, over the night... I was left without anything and anyone to talk to. Months passed by, on which I couldn't sleep, lost my appetite and also my will to live. I pretended for a while that I was fine ‘cus I full of pride so I couldn’t admit that this time I wasn’t gonna be able to fix myself…until I couldn't take it any longer.
One night when the pain was unbearable, and desperation took over me, finally, I realized that I couldn’t keep living that way, so I started planning how to kill myself, I gave some thoughts to the idea because I wanted to be effective and final, I needed to stop the pain but before I did it I got on my knee, very angry with God, at 3 something am, I screamed to God "IF YOU CARE ABOUT ME, DO SOMETHING BECAUSE I CAN'T DO THIS ANY LONGER!!!, I AM A GOOD PERSON AND YOU KNOW IT!!!
I CAN'T TAKE THIS PAIN ANY LONGER!!! I DON'T WANT THIS LIFE ANY MORE!!, IF YOU DON'T DO SOMETHING I AM!!!
IF YOU SAVE ME I PROMISE I WILL DEDICATE THE REST OF MY LIFE TO YOU!!!”
After this, all I remember comes to me like a flashback, I swear, I don't know how I got back to my bed( my last memory was been on my knee by my bed). Later on( I am not sure how long it passed), on this flashback I opened my eyes for a second and my room was full of extraordinary light, so strong I couldn't keep my eyes open, I was in a fetal position on my bed, my room was full of Jesus’s presence(I didn't need to see his face because the love and peace that overcame my body, the feeling that fulfilled my inner being was screaming the existence of Jesus in my bedroom). I woke up at 10:35am as A TOTAL NEW PERSON, I felt like I have lost a heavyweight I was carrying on, I was radiant, hunger, happy and full of hopes and plans for my life... Jesus saved me! he cleansed my spirit from evil desires OVER THE NIGHT! just the way my family forsakes me. I have been wanting to give my testimony for almost 2 years, I guess the Lord decided that today was the day, he is REAL people, he is, and all we have to do is to redeem ourselves to him and ask for help, he is waiting for us to do so, this is mentioned in the Bible on Matthew 11:28 “Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.”
We don't have to suffer alone, Jesus died for us, so we can live an abundant and long life.
My feeling towards my family hasn’t changed at all, if anything I love them more than ever, nor I hold any negative feelings against them, I still will give my life for any of them, the only difference now is that I will ask Jesus first if he is ok with this.

When I heard this song in Cris Duran's voice here in Brazil I had such a deep connection that I cried every time I heard it. Today in 2022 I watched the movie and got to know the history of music and the connection I had with this song made perfect sense. Just like the composer of this song I also had a father who was a monster, and he also died of cancer and also regretted it before he died. Glory to God for the life of this blessed brother who let his soul scream in this song. I love you in Christ and thank you for this gift.
I watched the film 2 weeks ago. I love the film and the Song. But best of all I love God. I was so messed up. I still am but I'm healing with God's help.. I pray that after horrific abuse physical and sexual and a life spent with social services. I've suffered with addiction. I'm now in treatment after nearly dying this year. My husband had a "silent heart attack" last October. We were together at Arby's having sandwiches and salads. I got him to the hospital and he had a quadruple bypass, in the hospital for 4 days, came home and healed well, and back to work in 6 weeks. The whole time NO PAIN except sore bones. THANK YOU JESUS! It's a miracle he lived. Most silent heart attacks do not make it. But by the grace of God - my husband did! Praise God..
