In addition under both Federal and State statutes the homeless are entitled both to Welfare payments and to housing grants. But some of the people in Cuba, specially when they´re in the young/cool mindset, sometimes prefer to save that money to purchase clothing, and go to a place like this 2 or 3 times in the year, to "show off" that they're above the rest of the population living in absolute misery. Cuba is like the West in the 80-90s, before the Kardashians where women dont have the spending power to completley alter their looks. This is probably one of the most authentic places to find "real" women.
And you can´t do shit with that, because you graduate and have no place to work. Furthermore, literacy is nothing in this age... you need 21st century skills to develop a country. Education in Cuba is outdated and mediocre at best.
That system is only supported by five people in power that are the only ones that benefit. There are not two sides when millions have escaped the island prison to be free anywhere else on this planet except to be in that island where people are left to die because of the complete and utter ineptitude and lack of desire from the totalitarian dictatorship of the Castro regime. The only side there is in 99% of the population is freedom and a complete change of the system. There is an apartheid and genocide happening in Cuba and the international community does business w them and donates to and gives gifts to that regime. Those gifts and donations, that also come from the USA( there’s no blockade) are not distributed to the Cubans , they are kept for tourism and very little is sold to the population with currency that the Cubans do not make at work. That system is made solely to have poor enslaved dependents, that are beaten down w hunger and disease and incarceration if you speak your mind against the injustices. If anything, the point is that they are too far apart and perhaps walking around at certain times is dangerous there. But mine is just a guess.
