I got a 91 Ford f350 7.5 and I don't think I gap the plugs right. The gap is .044 and it's been running rough. Misfire last couple months. I done replaced everything with new parts. How do I actually gap the plugs? That L shape thing, does that have to be at exactly at .044 with the middle at 43 and 45 or the sides have to be?
How it going Patrick , I have a 04 fat boy 1450 CC engine stock , When I set my plugs at 38 or 40 thousands , my engine pops and it does not run right , I know a little bit about compression and firing , So what I done I dropped it down to 31 thousands on both cylinders , and my bike runs like a striped ass ape , I have true Dual pipes, They are Samsung set up headpipe both sides , I never changed the coil for a hotter one It is a stock coil , But my question is how come I had to get my plug at 31 thousands for the engine to run correctly , I talk to a lot of people and they say it's not going to work but I done it and it works
