I am a student at Waterloo in program: environmental Management , I have attended Sault college in program of : ASR (Aircraft Structural Repair). I am taking Geog 219 and one Geomatics course . I want to specialize in aviation . It has been a great start and want to learn more. Thank you professor Ian Makenzie .
So I am ultimately aiming to become a long haul pilot at Air Canada. What do you think would be worth more, getting my PPL before the program but not getting the ATPL exams done, or getting the PPL with the program and thus being able to get those ATPL exams done.
Get your PPL done before the program if you're able to. It gives you an edge as your able to get your degree done faster. You have plenty of time to get the ATPL exams done now that the industry has slowed down.
I have a question My name is Mohammed Taib Omari i am one of school student i have a big interest in becoming pilot. I saw the cost that we need to pay for university which total is $97000 or more maybe, so my question is OSAP is going to pay or not?
Does OSAP help to finance this aviation course through a student loan? I would really like to know that please. Also, how many hours of flight time would I have at the end of the 4 years?
Quick question where you accepted in the uni and if you do how much was the cost of the program ( as I know there are additional costs for international student in few uni)
Hello, my goal is to go to the geography and aviation program. I am a high school student in Vancouver. I wanted to know what subjects I need to apply to this program. Thank you!
Studying hard at school this year to get in, the program is my number one dream right now!
Good luck! Feel free to email us at envinfo@uwaterloo.ca if you have any questions about the program.

Imagine charging $24k a year for flight training when it's only 33% of the whole course. (The most important thing)
Are these fees the same for international students or are there added fees? (aside of food, housing and living residences of course)
No , for Canadian Citizen it’s gonna cost around 100k dollars but for international students it’s gonna cost around 170k dollars
Please share the link for complete fee for science and aviation with year wise break up.
Is type rating is included in programme ?

the osap will pay for the UW part but you need to get money for the WWFC. let your parents help you or get a bank loan! good luck!
i thought about this too but once you become a pilot you’ll be making enough money to pay for your loan in ur first or second year
