By dying on the cross, it was the ultimate sacrifice. God and Jesus shared the same spirit. Just like a father would take the death sentence from their child if their child broke the law, God took the penalty for our sins. That's how much he loved us, and the cross is a symbol of that love.

This summer I was saved by the grace of an awesome God! The only reason I was able to have been saved is because about 2000 years ago Jesus sacrificed His life to save mine. "Being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross." Philippians 2:8 It was nothing I did, it was His sacrifice and His love that saved me. If you'll accept His sacrifice and believe truly in your heart, you too will be saved. (Romans 10:9)

I ask this every time I see on any music video, what has God done to your heart? Not what you did, but what has God done? I mean when I was saved, it was so radical. I was a self-righteous hypocrite but man, it was all Christ. Surrender to Christ my friends, there is no other! Not your good works, nothing else can save you.
