I got saved Feb 3rd 2012..in a funeral home of all places..ive always believed n GOD but never seen angels or miracles or the like..BUT i was cleaning up my surgery on my leg in the bathroom when i felt an AWSOME glow in my heart for bout 5 seconds..best feeling ever!!..1st words i said was "Thats JESUS!!"..then i heard HIM say "QUIT WORRYING BRAD IM HERE"..i looked around to see but i couldnt see HIM..got up n looked n mirror and my face give off a light

For years I was an militant atheist. Totally rejected God and any believe in an after life. It didn't make sense and nothing got through. I wasn't angry , I just did not believe. Until one evening I had an epiphany of sorts. It is hard to explain but his love was so fierce. And deeply personal. He KNEW me. And wanted me. I caved completely. What happened surpassed all reason and logic. I have been forever changed and bewildered that he resuced me at all. But I give gratitude everyday. And I BELIEVE!

Wow, what a mystery. He walks through fire, as in Daniel, protecting Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego from the fiery furnace. He calls out kings throughout the bible. Giving hearing to the deaf, and sight to the blind, even raising the dead as the Suffering Servant. Forgiving sins, the most important work done only by the authority of the Most High God. There is none like the Lord.
The Lord spoke to me one time directly. He intervened in my life because I was suffering and called out to Him. He does everything I said in this comment, I stand by it.
I was raised in a secular home and was an atheist for most of my life, not your average atheist either, I delighted in mocking and deriding Christians and portraying myself as their intellectual superior.
Jesus had other plans for me, and I can testify that Gospel faith is not blind faith, it is being sure God will move, trusting in Him, and then He does move and confirms that, but on top of this, I can also confirm a Supernaturally active Personal God, who LITERALLY "Called me by name." The irony here, I don't know if He's still giving people name changes but I had a pretty standard Hellenized version of a Hebrew name, "A Christian name" because it had been in my family, and I'd always hated that as an atheist. When He called me by my name, I was humbled and struck to the heart of my unworthiness. Now I love my name, heh.
I've been around the block, as an edgelord teen, I gave a lot of religions a lot of my time, just to play the multicultural cosmopolitan erudite, and I can tell you the world religions are full of superstitious nonsense, and the only fulfilled prophecy you'll find is in the Bible, I mean it names names, it names places, it is not some gypsy parlour trick like Nostradamus.

God has done alot for me. I am a cancer surviver and he walkd with me everyday.
I just had the most astounding realization in worship service. You see, I wasn't born a Christian (I converted about 3 years ago, more like my whole family did), yet when I was around 6 years old, one of the Pastors from the church we now attend came to our front door to ask my mother if he could help a resident he'd been asked to help religiously (Because we live in an apartment complex she manages). She said yes, but said also that we were fine where we were. Even though that was over a decade ago, I had the realization that if he hadn't come to our door, my mother wouldn't have begun to question why she stayed at the Mormon Church (which isn't Christian for those who don't know), she wouldn't have known about the church we go to now. The realization: God was already working to bring me closer to him years before I first believe. When I realized that, I literally began crying, tears of joy. Bless the Lord. +Unix One Update: Another revelation came to me, sometime yesterday. I don't claim that I'm anything but a servant of God for these revelations, I have no arrogance in them. I think every Christian can relate to this, at least they will at some point. We all know that if one ignores God's pressing for long enough, he will eventually leave you be and say "fine, do what you want.". The Bible calls this "Hardening your heart". He did it to the pharaoh, I guarantee he's done it to people beyond the biblical ages. I think we've all had that moment, because none of us are perfect, where we fear that are hearts have been hardened, that God has stopped pressing us for good. But, while this may be obvious to some, that very fear is proof that you aren't there yet. If that fear comes to your mind, then he's not done with you, he hasn't hardened you, who do you think brought that fear to your mind? Certainly not the Devil. God would be the last thing on your mind if your heart was truly hardened. I think we can all rest a little better knowing that.

I'm not actually religious. I don't know if there is a higher power and I personally don't think it's relevant to my life right now, but this song just feels so nice. In church we talked about things that could keep us frm christ. One thing I discovered while I want listening to this song was that I doubt myself qite a bit when it comes to my walk with jesus. I always find myself feeling like I'm not even worthy enough to know the lord and yet I know he wants that relationship. This song helped me realize many things that I need to work on in my walk with Him.

When I was 5, my parents both died while me and my siblings were in foster care. I never knew them much and have very little memories and I used to question all the time why God would do such a thing to me and my siblings but the truth is it was their time. They were in so much pain and suffered from terrible addictions but they both tried to get better for the sake of their children and loved God with all their hearts. I realized that they’re much better where they are now and I also realized that God didn’t leave me because He’s been protecting me from all sorts of evil. This song makes me think about all the times that God was truly there for me. He truly did take this orphan’s hand and I’m so eternally grateful for everything He has given me.

Hey man, I know what it's like to keep coming back to the same problem, and if you really want to break this addiction, you have to do two things. One, you have to cut off the source of whats bringing you to your problem. I encourage you to talk to a certified pastor and confess your problems to him/her, and I assure you they will help you. The second thing you must do is pray in tongues. As you pray in tongues, God will unravel these mysteries unto you, and your spiritual eyes will open and take over your physical eyes. I hope you break this addiction, I know it will be tough, but with God all things are possible.

I don't believe that it is faith that you are loosing but you are in a difficult place and it may seem that nothing is being done or prayers are not being answered. We all go through this at one time or if your like me several times. I do what He asks even when I don't feel like it I read His word and keep renewing my mind. Hebrews 13:5 is a powerful scripture for me and I pray it will help you in this troubled time. This is out of the amplified bible, Let your character or moral disposition be free from love of money (including greed, avarice, lust and craving for earthly possessions) and be satisfied with your present (circumstances and with what you have); for He (God) Himself has said, I will not in any way fail you nor give you up nor leave you without support. when a believer dies they go to heaven and are protected from suffering. and on earth the only way to be sure there is no suffering is for people to be like blank slates so to do that GOD would have to take our freedom away which no one would want. people care about pain because people have worth but we would not if we were just slime where as we would have worth if a perfect GOD gave it to us and we have a perfect GOD, Jesus Christ.

Don't 'wait for God to come through' before you appreciate Him. He already came through for you two thousand years ago on a tree! So many times we (myself included) pray for God to take away the rain when we should be praying for strength through the storm. Remember, the people God loves the most are the ones that endure the most hardship for His Kingdom. Ever heard of a Nazarene named Jesus?

Prayers for a young woman I met in a Christian group travelling to West Virginia with her sitter, and 2 children under 4 for a retreat time. Praying for her continued strength in her program and that she is free from domestic violence forever. May the Lord guide me and my church community to support her and those other women and children in the shelter of God's arms, in their household. Amen

The fact that we are able to observe the previous impacts means that we are still here. Which means nothing has destroyed earth. The fact that planet-wide doom lingers over us every second, and has not yet struck shows that God loves us. Danger doesn't mean that there isn't a loving God, it's the fact that we constantly endure the danger that points to His grace, mercy, and love.
