The best thing Metz ever put out, as much as like their first two albums, a couple EPs and some of Atlas Vending. Would be amazing to see them team up with John Reis again and/or John Reis and Rick Froberg.
Just my opinion: this EP is good only by virtue of Reis' involvement. First song is pretty pedantic and telegraphed...par for the course for Metz. The second song is definitely largely a John Reis contribution...no way Metz could write a riff that memorable with that much right hand articulation. They're just not good enough. Long live Swami.
I picked this up at a show last year as the merch booth was packing up. I got a shirt and the guy couldn't make change so I got this and Mission of Burma. I haven't ripped the plastic yet. I think the guy just pocketed the money. Along with seeing Thee Oh Sees, it was a great night.
I don't know METZ, I'm sorry. But I've known John Reis since I was sixteen, and that guy knows how to make a fella shit right on the floor. This is awesome!!!! Great blend of Jehu and Rocket raining down!!

@@scipio123 nah I agree. I meant “as much as I like** etc etc…” this is the best thing they ever did. Can’t touch the Swami
Tremendous stuff! The roar of Metz with Swami's rock and roll. The result is a cacophony of a crazed cadence composition. Coffee!
Thanks for uploading ! Be nice to get a digital release of this @ some point !
