Hey Guys, Sorry About The Shitty Audio. Seems Like The File Corrupted While Uploading, Shit Happens. Hopefully It Doesn't Make The Video Too Intolerable To Watch. Enjoy The Content, Next Videos Ill Keep An Eye Out Before Making It Viewable.
If you want to avoid a defamation lawsuit from Mazda you should correct your title. This engine is not OEM, not Factory, not from a Mazda dealer. It is from a third party company Mazdatrix. Stop click baiting people.
Its because they restart the previous clip you just watched, and overlay that footage with the next clip. While continuing the audio from the previous one. Its a simple editing error. They are rotary specialist not editors I suppose😂 either way I love it haha
Bench test(ing) is what I was told it was called. run the motor prior to install of the chassis(car). Hopefully it’s fluke otherwise what the actual fuck Mazda lol
if the engine was fired in the factory then there will be oil and coolant. BTW, the engine should not look bad like that and coolant should not be rusty...
Its a good thing to do when tearing down an egnine you just bought. Say you buy an engine from a business and you accidently brake something and have no evidence and you try to blame them. It might not work out or something broke on behalf of the business and they just might blame it on you and not even refund or fix the issue that was done. Now if you record everything you can't be blamed for some mistake the business made when assembling the engine
I've ordered three crate piston engines in my time and none of them had carbon on the exhaust ports. Why does a "brand new" engine have damage to the shaft, carbon deposits. Is this a refurb?
Clr motorsports facebook page has a challenge for anyone who does balancing on rotary motors.. A challenge by a master should always be welcomed !!!!!!
These videos show me why people can think rotaries are bad the motors come pretty worn out or junk from factory but that’s where you guys come in and make them reliable and better someday I hope to buy one and send it to you guys and make a dope ass motor
Yo im so glad that, this was the outcome of the other motor, but Im starting to think it might be worth building a motor from scratch, ecspecially if your gonna balance and port. Thanks Yall
Thankyou for uploading this video anyways! Just a tip when you import this video into your video editing program, it will show a separate "audio timeline", you can just mute the audio on that section of the timeline when it repeats.
My old housemate worked at Mazda toward the end of the FD-3S. They do run the engines and they're drained but obviously you cant get everything out. I think we have to remember some if these engines have sat for 30 years. The small amount of oil left is going to be compromised from condensation.
Good stuff guys! Amazing the stuff you have worked out on the rotaries so they can buzz as high as they do. The attention to detail and tight tolerances on balancing obviously makes all the difference. Thanks for bring us along.
Lets Go. Angel Motorsports your unofficial- Official Mazda rotary engine Doctors. For all your Wankel needs these Engine professionals will keep your engine happy and healthy!
Actually I have, and I really enjoy there work and what they do, but like in the medical field there are more then one doctor. Angel Motorsports just like PAC performance are your unofficial-Official Mazda rotary engine Doctors, they just serve different clients in different places since PAC is in Australia and Angel Motorsports is in North America
@Wise Guy well said! There are many rotary doctors now that make them reliable an go fast, and they all do different stuff to them to make them faster or just more reliable than factory. Here in Puerto Rico we have our good, fastest rotaries in the world doctors, Edwin Loquito Killer and Erick Turbo. Every place has a rotary expert. 👌🏽
i almost feel like the engine builders are not using assembly lube. usually you only get those kind of wear lines on new components unless the engine is going togethe dry.
It’s crazy how talented you all are. It’s actually wild I grew up In Pataskala Ohio, and I would always run into Logan at our local advanced auto lol. He actually traded my buddy Justin a 350z fit his RB20 s13 back in the day. And they built our buddy brax’s FD.
I like the casual shot of the 4 rotor chilling, then Mike gives a sly look. Wonder what that monster is going in?!? Seeing this one in better shape makes you wonder which is the anomaly? The crap engine or the decent one.
The presence of the engine tag on this one is a good sign. That other one looks like it was used beyond the Mazda OE run-in testing done at the factory.
If im not mistaken, those engines are not for street use. They are for racing purposes. They do not have to comply with emissions, and do not come with 100,000 mile warranty. Maybe mazda has been outsourcing the manufacture, assembly and testing them...
Plz put the 4 rotor in the drag car or whatever car you put it in make it a drag car that way yall will have an Angel motorsports shop car to show the world yalls badass work bro
the water in the block is caused by the shipping if its shipped by boat the humid salty air will penetrate the tape seals also all crate motors are broken in before being sent and machining a high precision(at least for a large scale production) would leave alot of iron and chromium dust in the engine so the break in oil will be filled with quite a bit of what was left when it was assembled which would cause the scoring on the parts as well
Funny and proof that google and UA-cam listens to you though your phone. I have never googled or searched for wankle engine. Yesterday I was at lkq and yelled to a friend there was a stripped rx8 with no rotors and suddenly my feed is all you guys videos
sweet, excited to hear that you guys have 4 rotor projects starting soon, interested to see what kind of specs that you build them to & what cars that you will be putting them into tho i kinda would like to see one of them go into a V8 classic like a 1970 Pontiac Firebird or 68 Camaro, anyways looking forward to the 4 rotor burnouts hey :)
Damn! Whats up? You guys gonna give Dahm some competition? Hell yeah I'm excited! I like that dude. But honestly you guys are the dorrito kings in my opinion! Can't wait to see what comes out of those loco heads of yours!
What year make model is the engine and where can I get a new engine? Where/how can I go option 2 to get new housings/plates ? Newbie here. Just bought an 85 GSLSE and want get it updated 😊😉
I love the rotory engine wish I could actually afford to build one for something. Love learning all the ins and outs of them from you guys #rotorykings
Got a misfire in my cylinder 3 for my vq35 on my 350z and I dont know if the motor is worth saving at this point, and Im really considering putting in a 2 or 3 rotor, do you guys think it would be a hard swap?

It's no big deal, the audio only seems to loop during parts where you guys aren't talking anyways
If you want to avoid a defamation lawsuit from Mazda you should correct your title. This engine is not OEM, not Factory, not from a Mazda dealer. It is from a third party company Mazdatrix. Stop click baiting people.
@@Nambazo not from Mazda Trix. Straight from Mazda
@@MikeVargasAngelMotorsports @Nambazo needs to shut the hell up if they don't know what their talking about.
I just want to know how much you guys charge for a nice lil rotory like the one you supplied to Cooper from Cletus McFarland?
All I want to hear is the phonecall Tommy had with the guys that sold him the engines lol
Is it just me or is does the audio keep repeating itself?😅🤔
I thought I was too high but yea😂
zero elevate 10/10 do not recommend watching on shrooms😂😂😂

@Masuta Okami but great content so whatever
You're right I thought I was tripping found 2
Pretty smart of mazda to send yall a new engine. Yalls channel alone is a huge factor in keeping rotary sales up in the U.S.
Yall are right
I love watching the two of you tear down and rebuild these magic dorito machines.
Am I the only one who bobs there head when the beast ass intro comes on?
Tego Calderon pa pa jaja
Intro is lit

Do it for dale!! Sorry, wrong channel. Lol
Or is it 😂

Is it common for crate engines to come with water in them? That is just so weird
If they run them before they ship, yes.

4 rotor rx3 coupe baby!
if the engine was fired in the factory then there will be oil and coolant. BTW, the engine should not look bad like that and coolant should not be rusty...
New drinking game. Take a shot every time Mike says *”so”*

I'd be so hammered. What is life.
So?
That’s not a party, that’s masochism.
*blacks out 4 minutes in*

Exactly what i was going to write 😂😂
I love how raw y’all keep the footage 😂😂 🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼

Ah, blessed by the rotary gods with another video. You guys completely changed my perception of rotary engines.
Very satisfying to watch masters who know their craft at work. The content I find inspirational in different ways as well. Keep it up guys :D
Knoticed how John took the motor bolts out as the order torqed in. Smart dude this guy.
Kills me inside when I see people undo stuff just in a circle.
I went to vocational school with Mike. Dude is super smart. Happy to see him doing something rad like this
Thought I was gonna get to bed and get some sleep tonight but naaa, you *had* to hit me with the late night upload huh
I've ordered three crate piston engines in my time and none of them had carbon on the exhaust ports. Why does a "brand new" engine have damage to the shaft, carbon deposits. Is this a refurb?
Just means they test fired the engine.
I don’t understand why a 2nd brand new engine from Mazda would also arrive damaged
@@Group_Anonymous its not a new....... enhine is discontinued years ago. Its just a spare ot returned ages ago lol.
@@yymmyyyymmyy2630 They are doing new engines again. Or at least factory refurbes, as of like last year i think.
@Jake Heke I think you're on the wrong channel
The audio is trippy! I kinda dig it. Really awesome to see the standards you and RotaryScience demand from your shops. Awesome insight guys.
best intro on you tube period!! 🔥🔥🔥 melaza

About time you started on Herts 4 rotor 😉
Intro is very suiting for this episode
Yo im so glad that, this was the outcome of the other motor, but Im starting to think it might be worth building a motor from scratch, ecspecially if your gonna balance and port.

You should add up the parts separately, I wouldn’t hesitate to buy a complete motor if I was going 2 rotor.
Thanks again for helping my autistic brother out. He really thought that the reddit haggard garage sub screwed him on the lost one.

"Break in oil" on a rotary should be clean. Wtf they doing over there at mazda
I'm gonna call this the deja vu edit.
