Released in 1983 on Arista Records by producer and artist Maurice Starr which was the same producer for the R&B boy band group New Edition. The song was later re-released in 1990 by Perfect Gentlemen under the same name which was produced by Maurice Starr as well. Hear the full original 12" version finally on UA-cam!! irving went on to have a good career with portrait ricky and roger stayed around in providence RI i think mr .Starr made a Huge mistake letting irving and the twins go although new edition and NKOTB did great i don't think anyone was a natural singer than irving washington
