In the Multiverse of Madness, America Chavez was just figuring out how her powers worked! That movie did a good job of making her look possessed especially in her scenes with Scarlet Witch! Now that America has more control over them, it’ll be cool to see what the Marvel Cinematic Universe has in store for her next!
One mistake that I found in this movie, America opened a portal back to Kamar-Taj and when she's already on the look for Dr. Strange from other universe. You can see that when she opened the portal, they're back again at the mountains.
No it's energy absorption it's normal powers not magic of darkhold even captain Marvel can also absorb energy but not inner energy or power she can absorb outside world energy
her powers isn't just some powers if it makes sense. it's literally the only key (so far) in accessing the multiverse freely. plus wanda is new to the darkhold. so im pretty sure it will take a while to take all of america's powers considering how massive her abilities could be.

In my opinion, they were wrong to give her the "Miss America 2" alter ego. I find they should have called her "Lady Star" or something, as the symbol of the star is the basis of her powers.

*Ik this is 10 months ago* but the term unique is not use for her powers, it is for her existence, because she has no variant in every other universe which makes her unique, she would still be unique without portals. Considering she is literally using an energy that contains millions or beyond energy that exist in every realities, universe or any other existing universe, given by how she can hop into one another universe, then it is hard for someone to absorb ALL of that at once due to how massive her energy contains.
