Hi Craig, All of you image processing videos are great. I have learned a lot. Would like to see more videos on Time-lapse movie with ImageJ or Imaris. Thank you
Hello Craig, Thanks for the video! There is a Plugin in Fiji, ClearVolume, that you can create a slice of a volume, with whatever thickness you want. Maybe you can try that one out for comparison. Greetings!
Hi Craig, firt of all, I want to congratulate you for your UA-cam channel. I have been learned a lot things using the Fiji software. I was wondering if you know how to measure morphology parameters using Imaris software? Greetings from Mexico city-
Thanks for your kind words. IMARIS has/had a ‘Measurement Pro’ module. In early versions it was an add-on but it may be included in the basic version now. In any case, once you have completed a segmentation there is a lot of morphometric information about the objects. In the video you see the nuclei being coloured according to size (I think) or maybe position. So that information was already calculated. I just didn’t touch on it in this video. Short answer is; it’s done at the point of segmentation and you just need to find the data within the menu options. The ‘Vantage’ module holds statistical info about the objects.

Thanks, I’ve been a bit absent for a few months as I have been rebuilding my kit. Hope to get back to making videos in the next week or so.
Thanks!

Thanks Vanessa, yes that sounds like what I’m looking for to make the thick orthogonals. I’ll check that out. Many thanks. C.
Perfect!
