He wrote all of the English translations for his music videos himself. He is a 108-year-old man with great insight, a great technician, a hard worker, a pure and fun person.
Fujii Kaze is such an amazing artist! I think I could say that all his songs are my favorite, but this one has a special place in my heart (it's one of the first I hear from him)
This song is so beautiful. I love how you've become such a big Fujii Kaze fan haha I only discovered him and his music less than a month ago and I love both. I heard that this song touched a lot of the aging population in Japan because apparently the implication behind Kaerou, meaning "Let's go home", is basically the afterlife. This song feels like his attempt to help people confront the reality of death with acceptance, and with that acceptance to leave all the things that weigh us down like hate, ruminating on the past, obsessing over the future, putting too much value in material possessions. And to give more so that when we leave this world our hands will be empty. Ugh... it's so beautiful. Take care brother
