Hey Buddies! UA-cam decided to cut off our livestream right at the end of this video, so that is why the ending is a bit abrupt in this one!!

This song is not a theme song for a drama or movie. It represents life. Fujii Kaze is not afraid of death. He describes it as being like going home. The couch hasn't exploded. He himself turned into a feather and disappeared. At the end, he left with the words, "Now, how should we live from now on?"

Kaze is always so amazing with his interpretations and the MV are so artful to watch.
Well we know Kaerou means 'let's go home' and Kaze is all about some spirituality so let go of the burdens and be the gods we were meant to be.
Man I hope humanity gets to that place.

This song is important one for Kaze himself because his thoughts on life an death is here.
This concept is also evident in the recent song "Hana".

"Kaerou" means "let's back to my home" in English. I felt that this song was about death. In the MV, I feel like "home" is heaven and the road is life. There are various ways to travel on the road (by car or as a couple), but in the end we will end up setting out on our own. Fujii Kaze always creates unique and memorable music and MV.

This song is original MV, not for any drama.

This song is about our paths and choices in life and our timelife. So beautiful and profound. That image of the old man in the car saying goodbye to everybody and going to "heaven" is so sweet...😢 And did you see the woman portraiyed as carrying the past, at the end she frees herself from that man? genious😊

I was looking forward to your reaction, but it's a shame that you got banned.
This is not a drama, but a visualization of the worldview of the song.
It doesn't just mean going home. Fujii Kaze's theme is such a grand sense of life and death that he thinks he won't die until this song is completed.
The lyrics are written from the perspective of reality and heaven, and the old man is probably leaving for heaven.
People of different nationalities, genders, and occupations appear. Even if you have money and status, you can't take anything with you to the afterlife, and I think this is expressed by throwing away your possessions along the way.
It's also a positive song about how we should live in the present in order to die better.
I respect his spirituality as he wrote this song in his early 20s.
Don't miss the video after the end credits.
PS. He is usually a very funny and playful character.

and the clock shows 5 o'clock- it's the siren for school kid to 'go home' - lyrics refers to the 'innocent me' has grown up & could no longer hear the 5 O'clock siren. The whole songs often refer to 'you' as future and 'me' as past. The red ballon refers to the spirits being freed.

That tiny couch is actually called a chair and a half. Perfect for curling up with a good book, your favourite beverage, a lap blanket and a cat or dog to cuddle with while you read. How do I know? I use to have the most amazing over stuffed purple oversized one. Loved reading by the window with a huge mug of cocoa, some of my cats, the blanket and good book every Sunday.

Weird. Another reactor had his power supply go out on him when he was reacting to, i believe, this song as well so that reaction video also had an abrupt ending.

I was wondering why the video ended as they way it did. Thank you for your explanation. That was so unfortunate! Btw, Kaze is doing livestream starting at 7 pm (PST) tonight. It's been two years since the last one. So excited!

I’m so bummed you got cut short cause I really wanted to hear your perspective! It took me several viewings to catch on that it’s about death and that “home” means going to God hence the feathers. Curious if the old man all dressed in white is supposed to be an angel.

I dont think this one is from a drama. But now you mention this, somehow some of the most viewed japanese mv in youtube is actually from a drama, you can check out Kenshi Yonezu-Lemon, King Gnu-Hakujitsu or Official Hige Dandism-Pretender. Japanese drama is very diverse on theme compared to kdrama, but yeah they dont really put much money towards their productions. So please check out more japanese artists, especially the one I mention here

Kaze is a serious hindu and you see the influence all over especially in this song. Unless you take that into account you fail to understand all his lyrics😊
And these people in the procession are dead souls heading back to the world they came from waiting for their incarnation leaving all loved ones behind thus they or we come here with nothing leave with nothing is so true to everyone.
I must say your interpretation us so weak.
