How can knowing all the network connections protect me? If Little Snitch does not alert me when a new app appears that I might not know about, I would not want to block connections of apps I use all the time no matter where in the world they happen to be.

Thank you for the walk-through. I have not purchased Little Snitch yet and I’m terrified over the frequency and technology of the alerts. However, your video showed the LS’s helpful descriptions and consequences of a given program’s/app’s connection. 1) NEXT TIME, please, could you also show one of those information blocks that Little Snitch generates for a known BAD or SUSPICIOUS connection. 2)Can the user shut off all Little Snitch analysis of inbound connections and leave that to the Mac firewall? Thanks very much.
