In like-fashion, the first generation i30 open face helmet has gotten its upgrade, facelift included. Welcome, the new RPHA 31, the premium-class open-face lid that is packed half FULL, not empty.
Engineered for protection, the new RPHA 31 is the next generation of open face helmets and one with a full-face feel. The glass is half full as they say and HJC means just that. It’s crafted to perfection with the highest performing equipment and innovative design on the market. Much like the RPHA 1N and 11 Pro race hats, the RPHA 31 uses the same construction and high-quality materials but with some new proprietary upgrades. Introducing a new shell shape and material, HJC’s original PIM+ technology advancement, now donning the Premium Integrated Matrix EVO (PIM EVO). This EVO shell is an intricate weave of carbon fiber, glass, organic fiber, and natural fiber for optimal strength, flexibility, and weight savings. Proven in HJC’s wind-tunnel lab, the new shell offers better aerodynamics and ventilation without sacrificing quietness and comfort. It’s been chiseled for optimized airflow with the newly designed extended shell and EPS, delivering more, and better, “real life” results. Added perk, there’s a new visor deflector addition that secures the visor helping stabilize it and cut down wind noise. More perks, better protection, and superior comfort equal a longer and more enjoyable ride. End goal.
The second generation RPHA 31 sees an all-new interior, RPHA Perfect Fit Interior. It’s an advanced ultra moisture-wicking material with 3D shaped padding that contours the shape of your head. The neck roll shape allows better comfort and aerodynamics which deliver a quieter experience, and even has reflective material along the edge for enhanced visibility. Oh, eyeglass-wearer? The helmet is out, now when are they going to have replacement shields? I won't wear a helmet without a dark smoke shield in daytime, so I'm just sitting on this helmet waiting for them to release tinted shields.
Unfortunately, we do not stock replacement shields for this helmet.
@@SpeedAddictsTV I don't know why HJC would release a fairly expensive helmet, and then not support it with tinted shields. I love my LS2 Infinity 2 carbon fiber and would recommend it over this helmet. The LS2, and Scorpion's EXO-CT220 are my favorite helmets of all time, and they're cheap.
