My son was diagnosed with a malignant brain tumor in 2018, he refused chemo and radiation and used cannabis. He is currently in the last year of High School 🧡🤝🤝

Im facing Chemo on Tuesday, first cycle for a new diagnosis, Non Hodgkin's Lymphoma. Stress has been incredible and my symptoms of fatigue and dizziness have left me a couch potato, wallowing in my own self pity and unable to quiet my own anxious thoughts. I Used an edible, medium first dose of 5mg to try it out. It was an incredible experience of renewed energy plus mood elevation. I was in a joyous state for hours and my wife was laughing or the first time in 2 months. I wasn't dizzy and my headaches were gone. Plus, I had a pleasant little happy buzz. I just took my dose on some rice ( : I prefer to mix the oils with MCT oil and put that into a dropper bottle, this is the tincture that is referenced in the doc. Doing it this way makes for easier handling and dosing than squeezing into a capsule IMO
This gave me some hope. I have autism and i get opioids on prescription. But unfortunately i live in Sweden and there is no chance to you can get this on prescription here, our government is so against thc that they will never ever give you this chance, sadly.

There's a difference between using cannabis for health and cannabis for teens exploring being casual. I'm so glad the topic seems to be more open and talked about. The drug was labeled a bad drug with crazy stereotypes... When people just want one more good day like me fighting for my life.

I am getting on in life.
Was always, for pretty valid reasons, afraid of the THC "devil's tail" stigma. Although open-headed about the miracle curing powers of it.
And after this presentation. Which is a "miracle", in itself. Am I totally convinced that I was, all along correct, regarding what THC can do.
Because. In the RSA where I reside. Have our forefathers ALWAYS had cannabis in the meagre little medical chests which they possessed.
And not for a single second will I be surprised to learn that this very same practice was the norm of days gone by. In dozens of other countries as well.

I just got back from Thailand where cannabis has been legalised. Oh, what fun was had there! Such a great (but expensive) selection of both smokable and edible weed products.

its actually criminal what the USA Gov did to the world with their drugs policies and the extended pressure from their successive gov on the world to follow suit. All it did was stymie human development and growth and has had the opposite effect of its advertised purpose. The blanket ban on drugs and the gov push towards alcohol use only had a huge inquisitive impact on me as a young boy to try all these ' taboo ' drugs after starting on alcohol and getting bored and tired of the terrible after effects of alcohol use. Ganja was next in my early teens and whilst all the other drug use has come and gone over the years only Ganja has the medicine effect and has been part of my life since about 15yo.
Gov SHOULD BE ASHAMED AND LITIGATED AGAINST FOR THE HARM PERPETRATED.

Cannabis is an amazing thing. I hope someday soon it will be legal & prescribable in the uk because until then I'm on morphine because of pain from my joints dislocating very easily & my left shoulder having been permanently partially dislocated for 5 years so far, the last input I had from medical professionals about my shoulder was 'just get used to it' it often moves about out of place so pain varies from bloody painful to so painful I either throw up or pass out. Cannabis would help with pain without all the side effects that my doctor keeps warning me about with opiods, my doctor keeps wanting to reduce the dose without reducing the pain, cannabis would allow that without me ending up in agony
You can actually get prescribed it in England now Emma. You need to speak to your doctor and he will be able to get an appointment with someone who can prescribe it. The initial consultation will cost money though, like everything else in the UK this means that only relatively wealthy people can access it while the poor suffer.
