My baby boy just died last Saturday June 11th. I was 18 weeks pregnant with him. I had to go to the hospital to have labor induced to deliver him stillborn. I started playing this song on repeat when the contractions started getting difficult. It rang in my heart as he was born and I wept and wept. Praising God with all my heart as it shattered and broke. This song will always be my favorite forever now.

This verse is saying that we will all one day be gathered together before the Throne of God (the highest throne) in heaven, and we will be welcomed by a new song that somehow we've always known, and have always had in our hearts since the day we believed in Jesus. As Christians, we all share a common song in our hearts, and that is a song of praise and adoration to the Lord for what He has Done for us! This song is planted into us the moment that we place our faith in Him, and this is the song that we will hear when we see God in heaven.

My sister cursed 5 neighbors to death. She’s a Christian now. She used to astral project, but that’s against God. A pastor friend’s brother almost didn’t make it back to his body, because a demon was about to get him. I’ve seen demonized people manifest and delivered. When I was 18 a unseen evil demonic spirit came on me in my bed and tried to suffocate me or scare my heart into bursting with fear. I whispered the Name of Jesus (whispered because I had no strength) and that evil wind blew out thru my closed door instantly. I cried out to God, WHY??!! Why did you let that happen? A warm oil poured over my head and down expressing a love I’ve never, could never explain. Honestly I had to say stop because it was so powerful I felt I would die. Since then I’ve had an authority to rise up against fear and discernment of spirits like never before. Previously I was scared of the devil. No more! Ty Jesus, You are Holy and with YOUR HOLY SPIRIT WITHIN. We are wholly yours and Holy like YOU

After almost two years I have listened to this song, I always tear up heavily and it feels my heart is crushed at the same time. I strongly believe the Holy Spirit took a part in the song production. I don’t always tear up like this listening to Christian songs but this is one of the very few songs that I believe was inspired by the Holy Spirit.

I echo some of the other comments that today so many popular songs are “me” centric, what God has done for me, how He makes me feel etc, and that is truly amazing and I jam right with them, but worship is to be aimed at God and His Son in the present tense. We have been given many glimpses of what true worship looks like and will look like in Heaven when we are with Him and this song hits that mark. Thank you.

We’re in the midst of praising in hardship with this song. It does add us into the mix but I don’t think it’s overshadowing our Lord. It’s showing what the Lord will do when we seek him.

God will help us to feel better, yeah, HE doesn’t want us to hurt but if you humble yourself and come to the Father and ask these things, they will be given to you. *Jesus made that sentence (if it’s not obvious)*
