Can skip to :34 and 3:14 for acceleration from light. Also right after :34 after I shift into 2nd I said that the converter is locked. I meant coupled. This is not a locking converter.
I assume the rear tires are drag radials. Taking an estimate guess, with a tire of 28" with a 3.50 final drive, his car should be pushing around 3300-3500rpm at 80mph. Again, I dont know his actual tire size but this is just an example. Either way, it is going to be more than 3k rpm at 80mph.
Taking a guess that his back tires are 28" (not sure what his actual tire size is), at 65mph his tach would be 2800rpm. If the owner of this video/car stated the tire size, then it may be different than my prediction. Still, it's pushing either just under or at 3000rpm at 65.
