- This video has no talking, no music, and is played at normal speed.
It is mostly Hackberry wood that is being split, a small amount of what I believe is Elm is also split.
There is a doggie-surprise at the beginning, I didn't know that happened until I edit the footage!
In this video I am still working on that large woodpile I wasnt to clean up, so I can utilize that ground for a different purpose.
These splitters look like great splitters. I like the way the 4 way can "hide"
@TheRustyGarageandHomestead that's my favorite feature! I do wish it was a little taller and had a good, strong outfeed table. But, it's a lot of machine for the money!
Massive round, nice episode. Keep cuttin'!
Will do! Thanks for watching!
Here is something to try. Experiment with lower engine speeds. You might find that the speed of the ram will stay the same and the life of the engine will be longer as well as your sanity. The hydraulic hoses also take an enormous pounding with the change to reversing. Is that a pressure relief setting?
@@davidlacey146 I'll try a lower engine speed! Thanks for the tip!
I have no idea about any pressure relief settings.
Hey ya gotta go ya gotta go 😎
@jbking6376 true!
hi there nice splitting . best to all john
What kinda splitter is that I like it
@@NorthwestPAfirewood It is a Ramsplitter H34. I'll put a link at the bottom of this comment
I am not sponsored by them or anything. It's a really good machine for the money. I think it's not on the same level as Eastonmade or Wolf Ridge or similar,,, but it had produced hundreds of cords without issue

Hackberry is one species we don’t have much in central Wisconsin.
