That's quite an impressive setup for sure!! I have a '22 VX Prado and have set it up similar to Harry Fisher's (Fire-to-Fork) Prado. I'm wondering what your fully loaded weight (including full fuel and water tanks) comes in at. I'm thinking that all up, your maximum payload must be pretty darn close to topping out - even with the 3.5T GVM upgrade. Also, with all that additional weight on your rear 'barn door' coupled with the dust etc., have you had any premature wear and tear on your door hinges? I understand that the spare tyre alone puts significant strain on the rear door hinges and for me, I try and avoid hanging anything extra off my rear tyre as much as possible and even lift the door handle slightly whenever I close the door rather than just slamming it shut 🤔
A very interesting setup. We have a Prado VX and are interested in a couple of the items you used. Those side mirror covers are a good idea. I had a quick look online and could not see and that mentioned they fitted with the 360 camera in the mirror housing. Can you provide any more details on the mirror covers you used and any issues fitting? . Those extra red fuel containers looked good, could you give a few details on what you purchased there. Some great ideas I will look into incorporating into our Prado 2023 VX. I am also looking into getting rid of the 19" rims and going 17" but would like something close to the factory offset to avoid warranty issues. Finding it hard to get wheel recommendations as our VX has larger brake calipers I am told.
The side mirror covers was from Amazon Door Rear View Mirror Cover Cap, ABS Exterior Side View Mirror Cover, Door Rearview Mirror Protective Trim Cap Fit for Toyot@ Land Cruiser Prado FJ150 150 2010-2019, 2PCS (Carbon Fiber Pattern Black) The Rotopax from Snake Racing Sydney (was very helpful with attachment accessories) The Methods 703, 0 offset, fits in well with all the wheel specifications. Passed vehicle inspection with GVM upgrade test in WA.
Yes it's a great setup isn't it! The tent is made by Inspired Overland @inspiredoverland. This was the first one in Australia but I believe they have now started selling them on the east coast at Snowys Outdoors @snowysoutdoors
In fact, as a practitioner in the luxury goods industry, you need to go through a lot to find out which ones are fake, kislux which is why people buy fakes because it is difficult to distinguish

Inspired Overland - At the time, there was no distributors in Australia, but since we imported it, Snowys is now the Australia distributor

Thanks for the heads up!
