There's no rule against bumping unless you impact the head which is agreed by everyone didn't happen. His head hit the ground and that's what knocked him out. So stick your crack pipe up your ass
So to be clear, we are now at the point where you can act completely within the rules but still get suspended? It’s ridiculous to suggest that players should now be suspended based purely on the outcome of their decisions regardless of how legal they are. By that standard, players will now be rubbed out if they tackle an opponent and that opponent twists their knee in that tackle and is out for several weeks through injury.
@@Planetrainguy What if someone twists their knee in a legal tackle and has to miss a big chunk of footy? Should the tackler get suspended because of the outcome? Or if someone twists their knee getting legally bumped?

I thought the AFL had a duty of care to the players now what are the AFL doing putting it back on the play they don’t have to take responsibility well that’s not gonna work in a court case pushing the blame if anything it’ll make it worse 😂.
Kane was too young to see his old man play the game but he shirked many a hard ball get as a player. Saw him do a lot of far worse things than Rachele and always relied on his high leap to excel not his hard ball get. Ron Barassi saw through his old man shirking the hard ball and sent him on his way real quick so perhaps Kane is not the best person to pass judgement given its a bit close to home.
Rachele was hilarious and a highlight of the showdown. It was a great showdown till the hit. The only laughing stock is the club struggling to beat the team 15th on the ladder, and the supporters jeering and booing a concussed player. Had to take an Adelaide player out to win. Now they’re in meltdown because straight sets exit is coming. What are they gonna do? Start booing Kenny again? So outraged by a joke and yet complaining games gone soft lmao 🤣🤣🤣🤣
The sad thing is when supporters bring out the salty tears after a loss, I don’t see how any Crows supporter can be throwing mud at other clubs after how their club has performed the last few years.

Let’s just hope Kane is consistent when the power play tennis come finals and go out in straight sets again

consistent on what?
Apply the Maynard rule, Rankine should of got out of his way.
Correction: Laughing stock of South Australia! No other state really cares 🤷🏾♂️!

Wdym that wasn’t funny joke Kane. Literally seen so many port fans with no teeth it’s just facts
houston did not hit him in the head.
doesn't matter he still KO'ed a player
@@Planetrainguy What if someone twists their knee in a legal tackle and has to miss a big chunk of footy? Should the tackler get suspended because of the outcome? Or if someone twists their knee getting legally bumped?
@@Planetrainguy well that should not matter.... if you didn't hit them in the head on contact. Or are we going to start outlawing the spekky because someon e leaps and knees someone in the head and knocks them out? Come on, Houstons hit actually hits the ball Rankin has in his hands and the force knocks him to the ground where his head makes contact with the ground. A shirt front is an illegal bump and has been for over a decade. Get a clue.
This is ironic. KC literally makes his living making big, often ridiculous, statements in order to get viewers and clicks. Clearly Rachelle has to learn to walk the walk before he talks the talk. But he's young. Cornes, on the other hand, has no such excuse.
Chompers defending the teeth comment because he always cops it 😂
Butters and Rozee might get suspended for ramming Josh's head into the ground in the melee
Right after thilthorpe and flogarty get suspended.
TJ is right!!!! Kane is port biased haha. When chompers goes: youve been bagging my teeth for years 😂😂
Calling kane "port biased" is laughable... no educated person has ever said it.
well there not the only fans that have not teeth collingwood supporter are in the same boat

Soft? He shirt fronted the bloke that was still in the air and had his eyes on the ball. It was a dog act.
What so Houston should've laid a pillow out for him? its a brutal game and one of the main reasons its so popular is big hits, so the game will only get worse with this nonsense. If players are so worried about getting knocked out then find another job.
Too a point I agree but we should care about the players but if he was tryna to mark the ball and knocked the player out I agree with you and shouldn't be fined
It was coming out and couldn’t be paid as a mark. He chose to bump. It looks bad
Tough guy WATCHING players from the sofa is talking!! Everybody listen up!!!
Exactly it’s pathetic
That’s stupid, Houston was obviously getting to the contest second, Rankine not playing the rest of the game and not playing sydney next week is objectively worse for footy than letting people do stupid bumps
I'm a crows fan and I think it's pretty weak for Rachele ( a millionaire ) to have a crack at working class ppl paying his wages.
Also soft to target ppl who aren't on the field.
Say whatever you want about opposition players because they have a right of reply.

Laughing stock??? West Coast says hold my beer...
Lose by ten goals at home to a team with six forced changes on the back of two consecutive wins. Hold my beer, indeed...
West Coast are still above two other clubs on the ladder. Why not use those clubs as your example?
Sourpuss KC was even criticised by his colleagues for effectively acting like an old man bullying a kid. He's a bottom-shelf reporter. Sad case.
bullying a kid? yet you're older than kane and bullying him... so by YOUR logic you're also bullying a kid.
Since when did the players have a duty of care to each other? I thought the AFL had a duty of care to the players now what are the AFL doing putting it back on the play they don’t have to take responsibility well that’s not gonna work in a court case pushing the blame if anything it’ll make it worse 😂.
This isn't the United States, we don't need showboating and its bad enough we put with Mason Cox's flamboyant attitude now and then.
Let him off. No malice, fair hit.

Rachele was hilarious and a highlight of the showdown. It was a great showdown till the hit.
Soccer boy not a aussie rules footballer
"struggling" to beat them? 4 goal win is "struggling"?
Enjoy another year of failure, Crow flog.
Well said
Kane finds it embarrasing lol
No redcard.
A send off rule would just give umpires more power to make terrible decisions.
Umpires slaughter the 50 meter pentalty to ruin a game regularly now.
Should go from 4 umpires back to 2. Less bad decisions on the field with just the better umpires officiating.
If the same bump happened but Rankine got up and played the match out, how many weeks should Houston get?
0. but rankin didnt get up
@@eggspanda2475 So you base the weeks on the outcome of the action? Not the action itself? What happens if you go up to a marking contest and accidentally knock a player out with your elbow? Does that player get 0 weeks or more?
@@vigour6786 no personally outcome based penalty seems crazy to me. Im just saying theres two ways people are coming at this incident and I think both are correct from their standpoint. he didnt break the rules of the game but he did fail his duty of care so both things being equal its likely he gets a tough penalty. At the same time I wouldnt be completely surprised if he gets off. weve all seen how inconsistent it is.
@@eggspanda2475 I agree and this is what ive been arguing in the comments with people who can't understand that the action and the outcome need to be seperate.
