    I had 1 just like this, love the throttle control, less stress on a cold start. Because your gonna giver all the way, going to get pretty hot.

    Antiques now. And much more rare then the coventional 98900 series. I own two of these flat tops in good condition 1975 and an 80...I hope like me, You keep'em for life.

      Yes Sir they are very rare now. Past my two I have not seen any in over 30 years here in Ontario Canada. And your's is the only model on youtube as well.

    Hey. I got a mower with the same engine as this, same starter its the same. But it rips the pullcord out of my hand when i try to start it

    • @alpharaptor7510
      @alpharaptor7510  Рік тому

      Ohh maybe the timing might be out just a little bit. If the timing is out. It can yank the pull star out of your head. Maybe the spring is to tight in the pull start. I don’t really work on these side starts a lot. I’m not a hug fan but they are good.

      @@alpharaptor7510 flywheel key does not look damaged in anyway. Just watched some other bloke the other night an he said his small engine had so much carbon builup on the head that the valves weren't opening and closing properly

      Well that could be a possibility. I haven’t had that happen to me yet. Also sorry it taken me so long to respond back
