Much better then the other bs we have seen the last years such as Dexter, Prison Break and Walking Dead. This show has been the bomb since start! They didn't mess around, no fillers, no episodes that didn't have point to them. This show has only moved in one direction, forward and pushing trough every wall standing in its way. Cinemax has made me feel there is hope for some real tv to come. Strike Back was epic as well, but not on the same scale as this. Looking forward to Quarry though. The key that is so difficult to make which unlocks the secret to a great tv-show is to keep the characters both interesting AND grounded which Banshee manages to execute perfectly.

Yeah I hear you, but if we did get to hear his name, his character would have been weaker. When we saw that he wispered his name to Siobahn after opening up to her about everything it was kind of clear to me that we would never know his real name. And to me he will always be the mysterious Sheriff Hood xD
Ngl, during this final scene, I felt like crying. I lived with these characters during the series. They felt so real to me. And when I realized that I'm on the verge on finishing it, a part of me broke. When Hood leaves on the same Harley he came on (ig), I was in tears. That's how you finish a character's arc. It was a fitting ending, and I don't think there will ever be a S05 or spin-off, coz Hood's arc has been completed. He became the best version of himself.
Even though this music and the last scene where he leaves Banshee are great, you get the feeling that he wil be back one way or another..awesome show..gonna miss it.
I was thinking that Hood and the crew have finally started to seek out a good life that doesn't include constant fights and murder. I'm glad for the way it ended, they all have been through hell and were able to make it through with their lives more or less intact. I think their story is over, but I wouldn't mind seeing something with the new BSD with two very good characters like Brock and now Bunker working there. The Brotherhood is still out there and has more power than ever in Banshee with the senator stepping in and Proctor dead (probably, but he has survived some crazy shit), it'd be nice to see them get taken down.

Although I absolutely love Job as a character, I think he workes so well because he wad a supporting character. The heart and soul of Banshee, was Lucas Hood. The main reason that this show stands out from so many shows of the genre, is that Anthony Starr is such a brilliant actor, and really cuts deep in many scenes. At first glance, he looks like the typicsl one-dimensional action guy, but he has so many layers, and he is a master of acting with his eyed only. If they ever do more in this universe, Hood will need to be in the lead, as im afraid Job can't carry a leading role...

Miss banshee, one of my favorites. Wouldn’t mind seeing a reunion set 10 years later. Hood, Ana, Job & Sugar reunite for an epic heist.
