The componen of vector in a dimension can't be more than the vector itself. As the velocity supposed is 2m/s while the component is more than 2m/s.
Hi Tanya Verma, You are correct that velocity is in X-Direction, but I think you have mistaken what Sir actually meant. See, 2m/sec² is the velocity which block is moving. So, here it acts like Horizontal Component of V, not 2 m/sec² is horizontal component of it. I hope now you understood this concept.
