Hi Ross. Could you make a more detailed video that specifically tackles the strategies you used to find new clients during the early growth phase of your company and how you did it?
Basically 95% my clients are referrals and while I'm listed on google and have started the SEO game, I want to be more active in my own pursuit of new clients. Everyone glazes over trade show networking, cold calls, dms, emails...etc but I would love to see more on what you actually do when you use those avenues because for me, it's 1 in a 1000 to actually land a new client this way without a referral and I think the problem I have is finding the right business or companies to actually look for.
I left my government job after completing college at ISU. I worked there all throughout college and they gave me a full time position that would climb to 80k in like 5+ years (45k first couple years). I hated being in a cubicle. I left Oct 2023, 10 months after receiving my position and graduating. This first year on my own I am set to hit 80k+ and I'm looking for an editor haha. Too many jobs not enough editing time for me. I watched some of your videos before making the jump and I really appreciate that you keep coming out with new content to help others.
Just curious. Would you consider a remote editor?

Really wish this was more strategy based! Loved the channel just think it could be more detailed, especially for us who are already implementing these strategies but still struggling to hit that 100k mark
I've been wanting to start getting clients because I feel like I know how to produce really good videos/films/content, but the idea of taking months to cold call/message/build relationships/maintain relationships is so daunting.
There's one thing that's for sure, if you never start, you'll never succeed.
Just break it down take it day by day. It usually happens quite quickly!

Just one question, do you think it is still worth to start a video editing agency in 2024 as a European 🇪🇺? I mean can we west country people compete with all the offers coming from cheaper countries? I am thinking of starting such an agency and grow it but I am afraid, that could be just a waste of time today.. what do you think honestly:-) thank you so much ☺️
You’ll be competing with people from abroad, for sure so editing is not a good business.
He will compete in any industry with people from abroad especially Tech or graphic, is that means that no opportunity 🤔 bcuz of it, cmon dude be realistic and just start
@@moodysamy6544 thank you for your comment, I am the same opinion. Than You couldn’t start any online business at all. But the point is, whether you can still make money in such a competition and still effort to live in Europe. But I guess you’ve already answered, thank yoy 👍

Easy! Spend the next 2 days creating some demos or showcases to show off your 4 then you'll be in a better position!
