Good day guys. I have been involved in planning and executing projects for over 20years and one of my main challenges has been efficiently illustrating the workflows and trade flows to the guys onsite. Many of them seemed intimidated and confused by the waterfall format of the Gantt chart. I have recently been exposed to and put into practice TAKT planning on my last project and I think that this format for illustrating the project plan addresses the previous challenges mentioned and help the guys onsite understand the where, what, when and by who of the plan. One of my greatest challenges with implementing the tool was the change in the culture of the management and not the site staff who were excited to finally be able to follow along with the plan and not need a translator to interpret the GANTT. I am currently in the process of mastering the technique through reading the books and practicing what I learn, and i look forward to the other videos! Best regards to you and your team!!
