Side note: i would love to hear some more melodic tunes ... I loved the album Massive Killing Capacity! It was my first metal album. You guys brought me into (melodic) death metal. I remember an interview in which one of the band members said that this album was a total fail from a bands perspective, but as part of the audience I gotta tell you, that imo it was a masterpiece.

The problem with Massive Killing Capacity is not with the songs, It has some very good songs but with the sound of the album. The guitar sound is not as Swedish DM, and also the voice from Matti is softer. It is a good album for the introduction in Dismember world but there are few week and basic songs.
Well, Mario, MKC has nothing yo do against a REAL massive Death Metal piece of art like Indecent and Obscene, that's the Dismember peak power.
Massive Killing s#cks even said by the band members themselves as you could see in the Live Blasphemies dvd.

This band sounds very similar to Entombed has more melodic guitar lines than Entombed, i can't understand why one of the members of the band said it was a total fail from the perspective of the band, there's nothing wrong with the album, everything works very well, cheers for sharing.
Both bands are from Sweden and part of big 4 of Death Metal including Unleashed & Grave.
Dismember is the most consistent, and above all, most superior among the four. All their output were above average, unlike the other three which have released sub par material through the years.
nobody said this album was a total fail. not anyone in the band or anyone in the fanbase. the band said that about Massive Killing Capacity. It's why "Hate campaign" was so atonal and a direct smash in the face to the label in response to the labels pressure to release something like Massive Killing Capacity.
