I am enjoying this series very much. What confuses me is you speak that it is of little to really what you say is NO importance that a Jew is most pious and the Jew is a total atheist. That both are the same in the eyes of all Jews at least theoretically according to the Jewish tradition. So ok, then 'WHY is it that those who wish to convert to Judaism is through Orthodox tradition thus one is not born a Jew only way to be a Jew is to be a religious jew. This is contrary to all you say. Sad..
I have longed all my life to be a jew. Many reasons not the religious aspects as you go on and on in this series say belief in i g-d doesnt makes a jew UNLESS one wishes to become a jew due to not being l be born so. i must lie and say i am some pious believer or i cant join yet my jewish friends never had to do this. WHY must i be forced to lie in order to be a Jew ? and i must have orthody conversion or not a jew. goes against all u say here. This is wrong
I have tried on and off for decades to become a Jew. Every single time it fails. Either it is some sort of 3 month package deal to Flroida and i get a 'certificate' proclaiming i am a jew after some silly superficial course that is all about money and this i am not someone who is so into such sort of program or it has cost a fortune i cannt afford or some othodox rabbi who told me that i cannot be a jew if i wear very loose not suggestive pants. So this makes me furious no one want ms ...;(
Why wont you take me. I cant stop crying. there is no one who feels such a kinship to the Jewish people as I. Most Jews just take it for granted NOT me...most people take the fact that they have a family jewish not. I do not take such for granted too bad people take such a divine gift as more or less meaningless i dont i would never but you wont take me.
