Arcling yeah, and its not just because Drack is a beast in combat and Vetra has the highest Health and Shields of the squad. They have awesome character. I never had a grandfather but if I did, I'd want him to be Drack. Also wouldn't mind if Vetra was my girlfriend in real life.
At first I never liked Cora and thought Drack was just gonna fill the - we need a generic badass krogan role. In the end the two turned out to be my choice teammates. Both awesome and when together, both are like bitchy friends. Their dialogue is great. :3
I can't wait for Vetra's and Liam's banter. They got into a pretty prickly argument about how Vetra raised Sid while i was doing Vetra's loyalty mission but i haven't gotten them together since then to see if they eventually squash it and move on.
i saw in Dana's other post! Awesome Smuggler/Cop disconnect. Their personalities clash hard so even when they try to do each other solids and help each other a bit, they do it begrudgingly because neither of them are bad people. Great characters.
Considering how much was cut for this game I have a feeling Cora was originally planned as an Asari and the Human female companion was going to be someone else entirely. It would make sense having a more serious and dutiful Asari Commando contrasted with Peebe
I know this is late, but there was some alteration to her design. In one of the early gameplays her portrait under Ryder's health depicted her with long hair, no indication of being an Asari so if that really happened it must have been early in development
I dont know what it is about the Krogan in this game, but Wrex, Grunt, and Drack were my favorite characters in the game, next to Garrus. I guess what I like is that that even though they're warriors, they have a very fun side to them. Drack actually reminds me of an older version of Wrex. And if they do make another Mass Effect, I sincerely hope they have all three Krogan characters in it.
