Hey guys, great game and Slave 1 looks great just one more reason to get a bigger 3d printer. Can you point me to where you learned that units don't lose their standby token if the are doing a fire support? It just seems contrary to how the standby normally works. If I use it I would like some support to point at. Thanks and keep up the great videos.
Cause fire support isn’t an attack. The main unit is attack, the unit with the face up token is just adding it’s dice but not attacking. The large face book group and forums have explanations as well from AMG. Thanks for watching! -Joe
Late to the party, but better late than never, right? The moment Joe filmed the Slave 1, Krennic immediately appeared in the memory lane "Oh, it is beautiful!" But hey, what a game! Some dice rolls were unbelieable, I never seen such a close game going all the way to the end. The Winter Cup has been a blast so far! Good stuff guys
Slave One got me into playing X-Wing First Edition and X-Wing started my whole tabletop career by opening up my mind for some other games besides 40k. Some years later im still into x-wing (about 50 ships) owner of 2 3000 pts+ 40k armies, 7 mesbg armies and moreover clones, imperials and shadow collective for legion. Damn you slave one for beeing responsible for the huge amount of money spent and for getting me even deeper into this awesome hobby called tabletop

I've had X-wings, and Tie-fighters printed but a gorgeous huge Slave 1 would be a fantastic addition! Hopefully i can make one by the time old man boba comes out!

oooh that Slave 1 would be a great companion piece to the Falcon model I just painted up for my tabletop. I used a Power of the Force figurine carry case. not quite to Legion scale, but eh it looks cool!
Great match, the Summer Cup has provided some quality entertainment so far. Slave1 looks great and really added to the immersion especially with Boba being on the table.

That FD cannon had a nice relaxing couple of rounds just admiring the Slave 1. That being said, that was a brutal start losing a dewback and a mortar unit almost immediately.
Don't judge the dew backs by this channel, the reason they die so fast is because they are so scary. They are one of the empires best units hands down -Don
Luke missed his opportunity to use “You serve your master well”. Was he to far away to jump within range 1 of inferno squad or Commander Veers? Love the Slave 1 terrain piece! I have a Millennium falcon that takes up a large amount of board space that we play with sometimes.
I was constantly looking for a way to use Serve. The problem was if you use it on an enemy, they have to be suppressed. As soon as Inferno Squad had two suppression I was going to activate Luke and go for it, but I was never able to get the two on there. I shot them with the vets, they activated and rallied. Then they killed an unactivated vets. I shot them with the FD, then Veers activated and inspired them. I could have shot them with the Mk. II instead of shooting Veers, and they would have had 2 suppression after the FD went, but Veers was the next activation and he would have inspired them anyway. So while I did likely make a poor decision, it wouldn't have changed anything in hindsight.
I can imagine that Slave I took awhile to get printed, but I was excited to see some Shoretroopers played again! Seems like I haven't seen them for awhile... also, the title screen "Winter Cup" gave me a good laugh. I have no idea if the other videos of the summer cup were like that too but this one did lol.

Question, unless i missed something, how has the dish (the left one) not deployed in the employment zone ? As its not a detachment of the vets so cant deply with in range one of them, so i guess i missed somthing.
Also, I thought that impact would get thru before armor 1, then armor 1 take effect? This happened to me last week and they said armor 1 would happen after impact. Do y'all do armor 1 before impact?
You convert for Impact before applying any Armor to the pool. If you did not, then Armor would remove the hits before you could convert them to crits and it would negate the ability. This is true of full Armor or Armor X

Another good battle report. I personally wasn't a fan of the imperial list. I think Boba and Iden are both focus pieces, so the list felt divided between which it was trying to support.

Real quick. In round 1, the fd canon should of had impact 4 on the gav, with the weak point side. At least that's what it looked like.

Advanced Positions allows all Trooper units to take a Scout 1 after deploying.
