@@rustinonthevineTaylor didn’t take home down a single time in 12 minutes of wrestling. That was quite impressive. He had no answers. I’m a huge Taylor fan too.
@rustinonthevine All due respect to Taylor, but he got beat TWICE by Brooks, and posed no threat. It's Brooks' time now. Salute to Taylor for a great run.
Aaron has 4 Nattys, young and hungry just off the hardest sport in the world, Folkstyle. David Taylor has 2 nattys a decade ago, and the opposite of hungry, he has his olympic gold. Easy pick Brooks! Those who follow the sport know.
Tylor could take gold in Olympic...this guy is a risk....I think gold medal is for anyone to grab . ..yazdani has no chance after his surgery too ....good luck young man
Amazing wrestler and I love to watch him. Beating this many top guys in the same tourney is Amazing. What could we please not talk about God so much? Especially the time he denigrated other religions by saying there's only one true God . Religion is a personal matter just thank God quick and then move on maybe give some credit to your parents because without them you likely couldn't have done any of these things. I'm curious though how people would react if a Muslim was talking about Allah every time they interview him after he wins a tournament question mark I bet the same people that are praising him now would not be praising the person if they were any other religion besides Christianity.
Glad he's not censored. Religious speech belongs in the public square as much as any other. Muslim, Hindu, Christian, Secularist, etc. they are all welcome perspectives in civil & respectful dialogue. He wasn't demeaning anyone or anyone else's belief here - just expressing his. Well done champ!
I truly do not understand the USA wrestling community's blind obsession with organised religion/their faith... Any wrestler throughout the world knows the individual, not God, put in those long hours and all of the hard work to get you to perform at your best on the mat. I'm saddened nearly every post-match interview these days coming out of the states is like this.
Everyone knows Zahid really beat Brooks, but David couldn't beat him? This is what happens when everyone trains at the same club, Wrestlers learn you styles and can shut you down. I guess Yazdani is back with the Gold.
Brooks stalled on Taylor the whole match. Only got a takedown because he countered a Taylor shot and was only called for passivity once. Just like in NCAA refs make opponents work to win the match, while Brooks can stall and counter.
These guys are so overly dramatic with the god talk. We get it. And if you’re really about that life and nothing really matters except god, go live in a monastery or something.
You'll find a lot of the best athletes in the world are spiritual people. It has nothing to do with whether a god is real or not, but more about what the spiritual mindset does to a person. Believing you have a greater purpose that is outside of your decision allows some people to commit 100% of their lives to something, forfeiting any pleasure, more easily than those who don't care about that thought pattern. Obviously this is loosely researched, so these are just inferences from me, but instead of getting disgusted by it try to analyze it and understand it; you'll hold less resentment over the types if you do.
Brooks is always a class act!
A great wrestler, but even more important, a good man. Go Aaron.....get that Gold!
The best role model today out there for young wrestlers! Congrats
All these great wrestlers lean on their faith
Guys, please use a directional mic. This mic is picking up everything else almost more than the interviewee. You can barely hear what Aaron is saying
Congratulations champ I'm so happy for you and excited to watch team USA..
All glory to God! Brooks is going to win it all this year.
Yazdani going to wreck him
@@farzana6676 ok…..
Phenomenal character. He sets a great example
Love his perspective and honest expression of his faith.
Amen!
Love this kid's demeanor 👏👏👏
These wrestlers from PSU are 100% Class acts!
These young guns are coming up. Changing of the guards.
What a savage to take out Taylor. How many world and Olympic championships are in is future. Congrats.
He didn't take out Taylor. He did next to nothing the whole match.

Unbelivable, excited to see him against Hassan or Kamran
Great job
I’m sure DT will help Brooks get ready for the Olympics

Taylor just got a Nike deal too. lol wow
he better bring home the gold
Look at that neck. He's a bull.
☀️🙏🏼💓
AB should be on the Olympic podium.
Treigning Lab!!!!
He was saved by refs especially against Valencia
Let me guess. “Jesus, the lord, and the Holy Spirit.”
Aaron “Oil Check” Brooks.
After tye "spit in his face" comment and the way Penn State fans acted I can't be that excited!
Starocci & Brooks are two different people with two different personalities bud
12 lbs?!?!?
So it was the lord and not the endless hours of hard work? 😁
Does the one have to exclude the other? Do we know better than he?
Seemed Taylor's last match a year ago, like a rusty walk in .
Crazy an “accidental clothing pull” or he’s not even being interviewed!

Hey didnt god lead David to the ein? He is a Man of faith too. Was his faith weak?

Oh, I thought Brooks scored more points than Zahid.
Brooks beat the Olympic champion they never worked out together. Just in same room. Taylor Jordan and cox time is over.
They did not wrestle each other in the room.

Idk what you were watching in the ncaa but brooks was the aggressor most of the time there but i do understand how you feel about this trials match
Taylor shoots a million times. Brooks still held ground and wrestled. He wasn’t passive.
@@eyesowasbanned Brooks didn't shoot once and you call that being the aggressor?
@@sweeterscience83 That's exactly what passivity is.

Agree
It’s thoughtful of God to put the problems of Gaza and Sudan off to the side to watch over Aaron Brooks.
@@mickicallahan5815 well Mr Brooks winning the trials takes precedence duhhhhh
"shut up and dribble" type beat
He didn't shoot once the entire match, took zero chances. Taylor shot over and over. Brooks should've been docked more for passivity. Undeserved win.
More than one way to win in this sport. If it worked on Taylor, it’ll work in the Olympics.
watch match one bozo
from your comments it seems you think there was only one match haha. you meant to say undeserved wins?
Kamran 💪
Love brooks but zahid won that match
