Hello, can you explain for what purpose folding hook on the right upper part of the rack used for? I'm about to assemble my own rack and wonder if i need it either:) Thank you!
I bought this one for about 100 €. It's a 6U, I should have taken a 8U. Then I had to buy screws a power strip and a door to close the back (to avoid dust to enter to easily).
hello! may i ask for the name of those xlr jack/plugs you used on that blank panel with the 2 xlr male and 2 xlr female jacks? i see that they dont require any soldering and id like to know what theyre called. thank you!
current config : Panel in XLR > ART MPA II Preamp > (insert in) ART SCL compressor (insert out) > ART MPA II Preamp > (AES/DBU in) Behringer Ultracurve Pro (AES/DBU out) > Denon 500 R > Panel out XLR (monitoring)
Since this vidéo, the Tascam (had a problem with XLR getting stucked in inputs) has been replaced by a Denon recorder (inputs on the back of the unit) : Panel in XLR > ART MPA II Preamp > (insert in) ART SCL compressor (insert out) > ART MPA II Preamp > (AES/DBU in) Behringer Ultracurve Pro (AES/DBU out) > Denon 500 R > Panel out XLR (monitoring)
The front patch for XLR INs and OUTs, how did you do that? What's the name of the single pieces? All XLR pieces i find need soldering and don't know much about it...
Hi David. Can you please tell me if this rack case is good enough for a band. We will be practicing and doing our live shows (travelling) with all out gears in it. We will be having our on stage monitoring system in a 12u Version of this Thomann Rack case. A digital Mixer, a headphone amp, a power conditioner, router, spiller etc.
Cool man!
beautiful¡¡ i want one of this, i have one presonus 24 and one PA2, I need 6 u or with one of 4 u is enough for me?

I think so. If you don’t throw it around.
@@DavidvanLochem ha ha obviously not. Thanks for the blazing fast reply.
What's that "Antenna" thing you screwed at the end? it is screwed on the top right over the TASCAM piece of gear.
a support for my headphones
@@DavidvanLochem damn! That's so cool! What brand is it???
@ thon if i remember well
@@DavidvanLochem it is! Omg that's so cool! Thanks!
So, that gear doesn't need any support to hang at the back of the rack? They just stay horizontal just from 4 screws?
This is how rackmount gear's working...
@@dekhruel That was my question. ok
How many
Art sized compressors do you think you could fit?
as they are standard size in a standard rack it depends of the number of U heights.
What is the brand model and make of your Power Conditioner? What I see is what I am looking for.
It's not really a conditionner, I skipped it since the gear has integrated transformers, it's the t.racks Power 8 S French from Thomann
@@DavidvanLochem Thanks
what is the brand name of the shelf
THON (from Thomann)
@@DavidvanLochem thank you
What is the internal depth of this case ?
Installation depth: 42 cm (more info : Thon Rack Case 6u from Thomann)
what all that gear for ?
it's a mobile recording rack
Is that a 4u or 6u rack?
