Saw this movie when I was 6 years old in 1971. It’s the most amazing thing I’ve ever seen. I’m 58 and still haven’t seen anything as good. I’m a Mopar nut as well now since ‘86.
This movie gives you chills. Who wouldn't want to own that white challenger
The only car I'd want more than the white challenger is the Interceptor from Mad Max :)
Even my late grandma would dream owing that 1970 Challenger R/T
Excellent trailer for a great movie that I first saw with my father in 1976.
Legend! A great existentialist meditation on burn-out. You know you're too far gone when a young, beautiful, naked girl on a chopper asks if she can do anything for you and all you can respond with is: "Like what?"

I was lucky enough to see this in the theatre a few years back and fell in love. I think I have it penciled to be my 1971 trailer lol.

I watched this back in my darkdays so high on coke I didn't take much of the film in. Seeing this (your amazing work) I just put it on my list.

This movie is the reason I bought a 1970 Challenger....and then a '71 :) Which footage did you use? The quality looks way better than the versions I've watched before.
Hey there this was taken from a newer 4K scan of the film that was released on the UK Blu-Ray! The US Blu-Ray is from an old transfer and doesn't look great unfortunately. Do you still have that Challenger? That car is so iconic... I'm jealous :)
Hi, love your content. As a British guy there are a couple of movies that people outside the UK propably have not heard of let alone watched, but they are absolute classics.
The first is Dog Soldiers and the other is The Long Good Friday.

I almost did Blow-Out but I did a trailer for The Parallax View instead :). Check that one out if you haven’t already! Blow-Out has a new restoration coming later this year, so it’s def possible I will come back around to it - love that film!

This was a weird movie - I never understood it. Loved the Challenger though.
What a great edit. I love this movie but most of the music is so goofy and out of place.
I beg to differ. The movie had some awesome tracks.
I agree with you. The music sometimes has a comedic tone... perhaps to add even more oddness to the whole bunch. =)

It's a brilliant edit.
In a way it breaks my heart because of how much has changed and how slick things have become, and how in a way that runs counter to some of the theme of the film itself. But in our modern style, for good or ill, your edit is spot on and razor sharp.

It came out the same year as Vanishing Point.
Oh man I love Two Lane Blacktop, possibly the best road movie of all time. VERY different films though!
One or the finest Arthouse film work together with Easy Rider two of the greatest films ever made an absolutely incredible masterpiece ❤ this film 🎥 legacy and legend lives on forever and ever!
Nicely done. Just fyi for fun, I've been through Alpine, NV recently, the church at 0:23 is still there, a lot of the buildings in the movie still are. The road is paved now though!
And probably cameras everywhere, I bet :) I wonder how far Kowalski would have made it today...
