They are in a movie together it's called Ip Man 3. Donnie Yen put a hurting on Max Zhang. Donnie Yen is my favorite and Max Zhang is in my top 4-8 favorites. That fight with Dave Baptista was pure fantasy. Wing chun does not make you a superhero. That's why I liked they way they played the Ip Man fight against Tyson. They knew there was no way he could beat him out right without a weapon of some kind so they made it a time trial instead.
His moves are beautifully crisp, but he's so underweight and skinny that the strength he's given on screen has little believability for anyone trained in actual fighting. He needs to put on at least 20 lbs more muscle to be believable.
If you think the choreographer was good, it would be impossible to translate the true meaning of the script into English in some of the scenes. The literal translation is meaningless ....

It’s kind of bonkers how many Chinese king fu movies have the western villain as British strong and powerful massive so you hit them and they don’t even need to block they’re so strong. But the king fi master of course wins in the end due to skill. It takes one hundred generations of breeding to make ip man as physically strong as Mike Tyson. It takes one generation of training to make Mike Tyson as skillful as ip man. I really don’t get this fantasy. It literally Proves you areninferior. If Dave Batista had the Asian king fu training he would have slaughtered the main character he’s stings bigger faster with a greater reach and better reaction and pain tolerance. He’s better in every way. If he had the skill and training of the main character this fight would be a pathetic sad joke. There is no reason you can’t teach Dave Batista to be that good at king fu. You can never teach that king fi artist to me a foot talller Anna hundred pounds stronger
