Angelus paints are specially designed to adhere and work on leathers and shoes posca pens are not and even with proper prep work they don’t have the durability or quality of angelus paints in short don’t use them

Speaking from experience, Posca pens are fine if your working on a canvas shoe. I've never tried on leather but don't imagine they would be as effective.
Posca pens do not have the medium qualities to be permanent on clothing. It is not a leather or fabric paint. Yes you can use them, but they will crack, fade, and peel. Unlike using paint meant for leather or fabric.

How do you paint the outsoles? And how to protect it.. I tried to change the color from bare white to a blue one... I used angelus paint and painted it also with raleigh anti scratch coat. But the paint comes off after some walks.

POSCA pens have their time and place as part of my art arsenal, just not on shoes for me. I’ll stick with Createx Regular and their Wicked Colors in my airbrush with Liquid Kicks to seal them off. I like the coverage and more even look the airbrush leaves compared to POSCAs.
If it’s just for an outline I think that’s the time to use it if ever… I just think they’re not good for when you’re trying to do a whole pair of shoes

Question: I havent really done many shoe painting and doing it again for a cosplay. I bought boots that require me to paint the midsoles white, how can I tell what material the Midsole is made out of to get as much durability out of the paint as possible?

I'm just wondering how do you clean up the small mistakes when the paint slightly gets on the soul? Do you use a toothpick , or are you just getting perfect results with tape

Yeah absolutely for that you wanna use angelus paint with 2 soft. Search up DeJesus vans and you’ll get some of our walk throughs on bape vans we’ve fone
I think for tiny details is the right way to use em, not for full coverage on a shoe. Either way you still get a fuller more even coverage when using paint rather than posca. When you use posca you can tell you used posca, and I don’t think that’s goal

No unfortuantely most standard acrylics paints are going to be a bit too thick to flex on various shoe materials so you’ll want to use something like angelus paint which is meant for leather
My daughter is 12 and she has customized 3 pairs of crocs but unfortunately when people wear them the paint has started chipping off and the picture has peeled off. Is there anything she can do to combat this?

i started with just the angelus basic kit and my moms acetone.

Try to use a green sponge to wash dishes to remove the paint because acetone alone won't get rid of the paint and the paint will peel off and crack:)

Have a quick question if I don’t have the dryer thing to dry it quicker because it’s to much and if I use a hair dryer do I use it on Hot Or Cold ???

Unfortuantely paint and rubber just don’t bond. So there’s nothing that I’ve discovered that will make them actually hold up to any wear tests

Depends on the type of midsole but most of the time you can scrape off the dry paint with a toothpick

You could run a multiple airbrush system, but after a while you get quick enough at swapping colors anyways.
