What tells you when to exactly jump to avoid the earthquake ? It doesn't seem to occur right at the end of the bar.

The bar at the top just tells you when the cast is going to begin, the cast bar on the boss tells you when to jump

I went ahead and watched the video and I think I realize what you mean, he casts earthquake then jumps into the air, when he lands is when you jump
