- TEEN ROOM MAKEOVER // Jude’s 17th Birthday ❤️ -- It's Jude's 17th Birthday, and of course, we had to celebrate! Not only did we build the most epic slip and slide for his party along with an insane ice cream cake he has been asking for for months! But we also built out and did their bedroom makeover, which turned out way better than we could have imagined! After 2 years of building this home and renting the year before, it's amazing to finally see them have a place that they could truly make their own! They were so happy!!! Such a special day!

Happy birthday!! Great decorating skills boys! 🙌 I noticed the mattresses are somewhat thick so the “rails” can no longer stop you from rolling out of your bed. I once fell out of my bunk bed and got hurt so wanted to warn you guys.
Good to have railings for safety.

There are usually lines to mark the max height of the mattress on the bed itself. Otherwise there is no barrier. Hopefully it’s been rectified, I know nobody would ever want to see any harm come to the boys by accidentally falling out.

We love using baby wash or baby shampoo for slip and slides its good for the skin and it doesn't burn our eyes definitely give it a try!

I love the the way the kids show so much affection towards each other. They show their parents so much appreciation.
Actually my Mother's Norwegian ancestry always seemed to put Christmas colors into our home. I have a wreath decorated with Apples and Ribbons hanging up all year, and some other things such as Red with small flower curtains. Someone remarked the house reminded them of Christmas.
