I was denied twice the second time and I’ve owned a business for 11 years and I lost a lot of money during the pandemic.
I have legit business and also got denied. And it's people out here with no business and getting thousands and even millions SMH
The same thing happened to those who should have qualified for unemployment but they had do appeals. And people who didn't work, they were able to get it with no problems. It took me over a year to get after appeals and disputing and calling endless of times, and right when I was about to give up the customer rep told me not to cause she seen I should have been approved from jump.
The PPP loan program is actually a legitimate funding source and it can convert to a grant if you request conversion.

Im a business owner and I own a day care my business took a huge hit. I went from having 35 children down to
10 children. Im blessed that received help from the cares act. It kept my business from closing. People shouldn’t be out here lying to get PPP money when there are hard working business owners that need help.I know of people are doing illegal things to get ppp money and I think it’s horrible. I didn’t get any money the 2nd round bc I filed too late. I hope the businesses that really need the money get it and the cheaters get caught.

When I looked up the consequences of PPP loan fraud, it was a maximum sentence of 30 years in prison and a maximum of a $1 million fine plus restitution.
The system allowed this to happen just to set thirsty people up and yet I still haven’t received my stimulus! who’s fault is it to approve all these loans and regular people are still waiting for small money ?

Did you want to use the SBA to obtain a business loan or PPP funds to start your company? FYI, the latter would be considered fraud, however the SBA does allow applications for legitimate loans.

PPP stands for Payroll Protection Program. The loan documents clearly state that you CAN NOT use any of the funds for Capital Expenses.

I believe my son and his girlfriend stole 20,000 in government money by doing this. For the last few days they've been shopping and renting a vehicle and neither of them work. Strange mail has been coming to my home for the girlfriend and some "business" name in which I know for a fact that she doesn't even own any business of any kind as well as some random mail with someone's name on it who doesn't even live at my address. When I secretly googled the address which had some California address on it and I live in Iowa, the address came back from Zillow realtor site as being a house that nobody even lives in.

Here is a bit of advice. If you get a PPP loan illegally, don't spend a dime. Just sit on it. All of it. Because, the only way your ass is not going to jail, is giving that money back. So why get it in the first place?
